thenorthremembers Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) Earlier I said I didn't care about having OBJ. This is changing my mind. They literally have one good receiving threat. Both Knox and Davis have been huge disappointments this year Edited November 6, 2022 by thenorthremembers 1

Davis & McKenzie aren't consistent enough threats to take pressure off Diggs. They both can have standout performances, but they are just as likely to go long stretches barely being visible. We currently don’t even have a slot WR. Shakir is a rookie who the staff is bringing along slowly and McKenzie is a gadget player. Davis is a FANTASTIC WR3 deep threat. We have an elite WR1 and Deep Threat WR3. No dependable #2 or Slot.

PauleeeWalnuts Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Davis and Knox need to join the party here. Diggs is getting doubled while Davis drops passes

Sorry but Davis has to be better than that. He seems to only make big plays when running vertical routes. We need more from our #2. Don't think it was a designed comeback. It was a scramble drill. But I agree we need more from Davis beyond the shot plays. 1

Whatever route it was, it was a makeable catch and if Davis wants to be a Big Dog and get paid like it, he’s gotta haul those in.
ndirish1978 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Josh needs to wake up. For those saying we're nitpicking cause we're up - this is supposed to be a SB contending team and we have not looked like a SB contending offense for the last 3 quarters. We NEED to hit open receivers and matriculate the ball down the field, not everything has to be a chunk play. 1 1

You can overpower the Bills on the edges, which is why you need safeties and backers to be so good on angles. Especially the safety and Will backer 1
Meatloaf63 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 I didn’t think so in the beginning of the year, but we need a better #2 wide receiver. Too many mistakes too easy to slow us down.
Norcalbillsfan Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Excited to see how Allen and dorsey respond. This is a good defense. I wanna see how dorsey adjusts
BuffaloBill Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 Allen hands off to motor who gets 3

If we learn lessons, or it pushes us to rejig for Beckham, all the better.
