Maybe we can create dire distress stories about Washington, post them on Twitter, tag Elon, he buys the Commanders and we sit back and watch him and Goodell go at it.

Really think someone with enough money to consider buying  WFT would want to be minority partner with Snyder?  Not likely imo.

And other owners get to vote on any new ownership.

I dunno, it's not my opinion I quoted a reported fact. Combine that with the fact that the guy is a scumbag and who knows what he's doing.

I think he (or a new owner) will have a challenging time getting a new stadium constructed in the near term economy.

I don't see Virginia or Maryland having the appetite for a generous Hochul-like stadium deal.

That’s too bad. Every league needs a laughingstock.

I just hope that whoever buys the team runs the organization as poorly as Snyder did. In a competitive league like the NFL, we need as many inept owners as possible.

I hope he writes a book after the sale is complete and smears every NFL owner he can.

He has no dirt on anyone.  He's bluffing like he always does, right before he inevitably tucks tail and caves.

Putting the team up for sale, and actually selling it are two different things.  I’ll believe it when I see it.

🤞🏻

Not sure why anyone would want the owners or Goodell to have their names and league dragged through the mud?

What good would it be for the league or its fans?

My wish is for purely selfish purposes.  I'd take great joy in watching some of these one-percenters squirm a little.

Shocked that he’d even consider this with how defiant he’s been about selling. They’ve been calling for his head for years and he refuses. But with a guy like Irsay like a dog on a bone insisting he sell, clearly this wasn’t going away.

He’s finally stuck. He’s so despised he can’t get a new stadium, one that they desperately need. He’s costing the other owners money at this point and that, above all else, will not be tolerated.

the minority ownership thing is just something the Snyders are floating to try to maintain a sliver of leverage. He just bought out his old minority owners last year (because they too despised him and were maneuvering to force him out.) He has zero intent of pursuing this.
