I doubt he is out for the year but might be 3-6 weeks. It kinda pisses me off that he is dealing with this again because he took the elbow brace off...like I know it isn't super comfortable to play in, but that's not something you want to re-injure. gonzo1105 Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 I don’t think Marlowe is coming in here to be a starting safety. Like Hines, Marlowe is very good on STs. You know who plays a lot of STs for the Bills….Jaquan Johnson. This will allow Johnson the opportunity to focus on safety while Marlowe provides depth and take his STs spot 5 Quote

Funny, just a few hours ago you were pointing out that we needed safety depth... Did you post "Yay! Can he play safety?!!?" in the thread on Hines, the RB that can probably also play WR? Quote

Hodgins and Bryant, GAN!!!! Did not see that comin'.... The baseball team in Atlanta have done this so many times in the past few years. Different sport, but same idea/principles. 1 Quote

Marlowe is capable and knowing the system this late in the year is a big plus. I now feel better at the S position. Quote

Dean Marlowe is going to make a huge play at least once this season. He is what he is, but he fits what they do like a glove and is a smart dude. Quote

SoCal Deek Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 I always liked Marlowe. He knows the locker room and knows the scheme. Well done! Quote
GunnerBill Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Makes sense. Knows the system. Low upside but at least an experienced vet to hold it down if Poyer is out 4-6 weeks. If Poyer is done for the year I don't think this is sufficient. 2 Quote
Big Blitz Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Shut Poyer down till the Miami game. We’ll have to score 35 in Detroit is my guess tho. Not worried about Cousins and Minnesota in fresh air. Quote
