Massive power move by the Dolphins.

I know some here will continue to downplay them and act as if they aren't a real threat, but I'm not so sure the division is a lock for the Bills now.

In fact will go as far to say this puts the dolphins right up there, possibly even surpassing the Chiefs, as the biggest hurdle to get to the SB now.

Here's the deal w/ the rematch against the Dolphins - they won't be able to enjoy spending most of the game in weather that's over 10 degrees cooler than the opposing team.

They gotta come to the cold.  I wonder if we can prevent them from using heaters on the sideline, just for a little tit for tat?

I hope we put snow-making machines on their side of the field that day.

People can shrug about this all they want, but I'll be honest... I'm not happy.

He's a strong talent at the position & still young. We may have signed a better player & HOFer in Miller, but Chubb can be a difference maker in a different way.

I don't think they're a threat for the division unless the Bills collapse, but they'll be a tougher out in December & potentially the playoffs now.

Chubb has 5.5 sacks in his last 17 games. 4.5 of those sacks came in 2 games.  So that’s 1 sack in the other 15 games.

F U Broncos

Well, the Broncos pick of Chubb in 2018 may have been a catalyst for the Bills being able to get Josh.

Thank you John Elway! Glad he doesn't know a competent QB, so happy Josh landed in Buffalo it was perfect spot for all involved.

I think Miami got fleeced. Chubb is not worth a 1st.

Dolphins are living rent free in some of your heads after a week 3 loss in which we dominated everything but the scoreboard and then proceeded to win the next 4 games and counting.

Does Chubb make them better?  Absolutely.  But I am 100% fine with them spending their cache of draft picks in a vain attempt to catch us.

This is exactly right.

I agree with you here. Unsure if I would leap frog the Chiefs, but I think they are sort of a tweener between KC and grouping of teams. But that doesn't have anything to do with this move. Mostly because of the below.

I really think Chubb gets a Bud Dupree sized deal, that paired with the loss of a first and a likely bloated Tua deal could really cement them as a high floor low ceiling team.

Man, I was just thinking that the Dolphins made this move solely for Josh Allen.

How awesome would it be if they came in in December after giving up a 1st and stupid extension and Chubb got zero pressures, hits, sacks, or batted passes, but got flagged like 3 times for jumping Offside?

If they weren’t a couple games behind already I think people would be more worried.  I don’t see a whole lot of losses left on the bills schedule.  The dolphins still have a below average offensive line and a qb that doesn’t go through progressions well and don’t cover well on the defensive side.  Even if they pulled out the win in buffalo I don’t think they’re catching us still…they have a pretty tough 4 week stretch coming up soon:

@49ers

@chargers

@bills

home vs GB

Bills will likely have the first round bye and Miami is pretty likely gonna lose the 3 seed vs 6 seed or 4 seed vs 5 seed road game

BOOM. Dolphins survived the Tua fiasco and now they're shooting their shot. They'll be right on Bills heels to the end.

We need the turd emoji for this one.

That has got to be the strongest bourbon someone has ever drank to come up with that thought.

I’m curious if it’s the same people that have hyped the dolphins up the last few years or they have won over some new converts 😂

their defense has been bad in a way that a pass rushing linebacker won’t help them much…they have 0 offensive line depth and a pretty bad starting group to begin with.  People seem obsessed with offensive yards as the indicator of how good a team is these days.  If we’re assuming teams are getting healthier down the stretch I’d much rather see Miami over baltimore and kc
