BigDingus Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 If they cut me off or nearly caused a wreck, I'd be pissed regardless. If they actually wrecked into my car, I'd be super happy & far more forgiving, feigning emotional damage & requesting an upgraded ride 😅 1 Quote
The Wiz Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 This thread reminds me of the old ESPN commercials about the NHL where they talk about how "hockey players are people too, their just really good at hockey" The opposite apply as well. I don't care if you're a millionaire, be like everyone else on the road because the next thing you know someone is going to see them come flying at 100+ mph and think they are the law and keep them from passing and creating an accident. boater Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 When I witness stupid behavior I recall all the stupid things I have done. I have done plenty of stupid and have gotten a pass, for which I am deeply grateful. So, when I see stupid, I am forgiving. Bonus points: not getting angry or holding a grudge is good for your physical and mental health. Quote

French Rd in Cheektowaga, NY (bordering West Seneca) is a 4 lane road with a center turn lane. With is being a residential street, the speed limit is 35mph. I was driving down going about 45mph, keeping up with traffic. (The cops allow 45mph on most days down French). I'm in the left hand lane, behind an SUV, with a pick up truck driving along side of us in the right hand land. In my rearview mirror I see this Chevy Camaro flying up behind us. It wasn't a stock Camaro either, definitely newer model, top of the line package. The guys was looking for every opportunity to pass us. We all pull up to a stop light, I look at the Camaro, the driver has his window rolled down, and it Greg Rousseau. I wave, he gives me the peace sign back. The light turns green, the truck pulls away first, and Groot flies around the truck, pulls in front of him to make a right hand turn onto Union. Normally I would be cursing the driver of the Camaro out for being such an idiot. With it being Rousseau, I was just like, "young kid, boys will be boys". That's not the correct reaction to have, but that was my first reaction. What would you have done is someone like Allen or Miller did something that if it were any other person, you'd think to yourself, "what an idiot"? Rousseau does not own a Camaro as of last month, So I am guessing he is behind the wheels of a new car or a friend's car. Most people new to a jacked-up car like that, underestimates the speed of that car. TBH, I do not let dumb stuff like this bother me in the first place. Life is to short. Second, you going 45 on that road with or not with traffic is risky business on its own. I am not to far from that area.. a few go 45 and some go around 40. Me personally? i see a hot new car like that coming up behind me? I give it its respect and slow down... let that monster pass me. Life to to short for road rage like that. I may whisper to myself "you moron" but that's it. slow down more and let the car pass me. Quote

NoHuddleKelly12 Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 My initial thought would be, whoa, we need you healthy against Mahomes in the playoffs! So prolly would yell out, “slow down, the best ability is availability!!!” 😅🤷🏼♂️ 1 Quote

I'm from Ohio but have lived in Miami for a decade now. The worst, rudest, most inconsiderate drivers in the country live here. Greg is reppin' his hometown! Quote
