They don't need to remove anyone as they only have 54 players active and are allowed 55 with the expanded rosters.

This is how I've been seeing it as well.

 

Add an All-Pro CB to this defense. Already under team-friendly long term deal. Didnt have to spend anything to get him.

 

If we cant make any other moves, this is a decent consolation prize.
