ngbills Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Wow. Guess nobody is taking the Jets serious. The Bills are 13 point favorites on the road vs the 5-3, 2nd place Jets who are winners of 4 of last 5. Seems like a really high spread for a game like this. No way I am betting against the Bills though... 2 2 Quote
Demongyz Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Well, they lost their best player and just lost to the Patriots so I guess nobody really thinks they will beat the Bills. 4 2 Quote
ShakAttack Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I think Dolphins are easily 2nd best in div when Tua is healthy 7 10 1 Quote
PolishPrince Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Probably because the Jet's wins are against weak teams and several backup QB's. They lost their biggest offensive performer in Breece Hall for the season too. I am not sure why we would be surprised. Quote

Bills who beat each one of the current AFC division leaders. Jets who are a competent Browns D not blowing a two score lead with less than 2 minutes to go and a Tua injury away from being .375 Edited October 31, 2022 by What a Tuel 2 Quote
Gugny Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 This is going to be an ass-whooping similar to what we saw when the Bills hosted the Steelers in Week 5. 4 Quote

He also is still making God Awful decisions with the ball. Edited October 31, 2022 by Big Turk Quote
Greg S Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I would take the points to be honest. 13 is too much to be giving up on the road especially against a divisional rival. Plus, the Jets defense is good. They will give the Bills offense some problems. The Bills will win but I don't think it will be a complete blowout. Sabres 24 Islanders 14. 1 2 Quote
Warcodered Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Fun thread on Jets forum https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/169433-white-or-wilson-versus-buffalo/ guess they have a short memory on the Mike White game last year. 1 Quote
Paul Costa Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 The Patriots were a 3 point favorite yesterday in the Meadowlands. What does that say about the NE /Buffalo games. Quote
BillyBilliams Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Just because they are 5-3 doesn't make them good. Bills will beat up the Jets. Jets will drop to 5-4 and we'll start to see them even out. Schedule hasn't been overly tough. I think they'll win 2-3 more games the rest of the year. Quote
Nextmanup Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Maybe this will demonstrate the gap between the two teams more clearly for you, NGBILLS... Bills point differential on the season: +105 Jets: +17 These two teams aren't close in overall quality/skill. Stop looking at records; they can be misleading. 2 Quote

Pretty mobile, very good arm and accuracy, etc. But still very much playing like a rookie. Quote

Rc2catch Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Wilson is really really really bad. If that kid starts running backwards like he likes to do against Buffalo he’s going to take some brutal sacks. The Jets coaches seem to have a really hard time trying to tame him and settle his game down. He does remind me of josh a little when he played chaotic and tried to do too much his rookie year, but Wilson isn’t making the positive plays to give hope like Allen did. Not in the quarters I’ve watched him play anyways. But I’ll leave the real analysis to Jimmy Spags or whatever his name is. The youse guy 😂 Quote

Don’t think any team challenges the Bills for the division though. Dolphins are definitely better than the other two, Bills DB's had better learn how to knock down long bombs to Hill and Waddle. If you force Tua into making mid-range throws, that's your best bet, his arm strength isn't good enough to fit into windows. But all he has to do is get the ball in the vicinity of those two guys and they seem to have glue for hands. As long as Allen doesn't roll out a reprise of his late game form yesterday, there shouldn't be much contest vs the Jets. I do think their defense could hold them close awhile though, especially if they find ways to keep Allen on the reservation. Patriots are struggle bus really, I thought for sure Belichick was going to swap QB's in the 1st half. Edited October 31, 2022 by pocoboy Quote
