Freddie's Dead Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 The ball clearly hit the red in the Bills logo at midfield. Not an INT. 1 Quote

More so the fact there wasn't a review was perplexing. Actually the ball clearly Came up from hitting the ground. It aided the catch. But I will admit if the call on the field was a pick it would have likely stayed as well. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 It looked like a few of those rubber pellets flew up as the tip of the ball hit the ground. It was barely noticeable but i think it would not have been overturned. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Couldn’t Milano’s hands have also caused the black pellets to spray up, not just the tip of the ball??? 2 Quote

US Egg Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Ok, I’ll say it. Refs and NFL didn’t want a blow out prime time game. I feel better. 2 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 They don't stop the play anymore for those type of reviews...they do an "expedited review" and if there is nothing to change, the play keeps going. Quote

Edmunds quietly had a 16 tackle game.....not that the Edmunds haters wanna see THAT! 1 1 Quote

My guess is only on a change of possession is a booth review done, though I thought there was one (and they do) on receptions. Under 2 minutes the booth can trigger reviews on ALL plays if an incorrect call might have been made that can be challenged. Quote

Yes agree. It was within 2 minutes so my assumpiton is the officials in the "sky" took a look at it quickly and deemed it hit the ground, which the video posted by @Einstein clearly shows. I thought the same wnen they showed the replay on the telecast. 1 Quote

FireChans Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 The ball richochets off the ground before Milano has any control. It was close, but not an INT. Quote
K D Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Tip of ball hit the ground. End of thread 1 Quote
Rocky Landing Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Just the amount of debate on this thread shows that there isn't enough to overturn the ruling on the field. 2 1 Quote
Frostbite Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Thought it was an interception but the ruling on the field was incomplete (after discussion and taking away the INT). Nothing conclusive in the replays could overturn it. Side note, thought it was great that NY can call down during the game to get a call right, and quickly. Perks of being the only game played i guess. Quote
bmur66 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Milano was so close to having 3 pics last night Quote
