Toyo321 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 He has such a high potential and his speed is deadly in the open field. He has to get his rookie lumps along the way but he has to be in the game plan more. 5 9 2 Quote
Joe Ferguson forever Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) saw some spark. not sold but getting warmer. He looked more motivated. Edited October 31, 2022 by redtail hawk 4 2 Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Yea, this game helped his confidence. You could see Allen encouraging him after the long catch and run. They really want him to be the speed option. 76 yards from scrimmage, not too bad. Cook and Singletary could make a good backfield duo the second half of the season. Sierra Foothills Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Cook would be much more effective if he didn't so obviously hate playing for this team in this city. Can you imagine how explosive he'd be if he had a good attitude? 13 2 Quote

Toyo321 Posted October 31, 2022 Author Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) After tonight's game I would expect to see a much bigger dose of him next week against the Jets. Why in the world do you have all these media rumors surrounding RB's. Like MCcaf and Kamara. Let the kid freakin play.... and lets see what he can do. He has better speed than any of the RB's on this team and even better the Lil Dirty. Edited October 31, 2022 by Toyo321 1 Quote
zow2 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 McDermott starting to trust him again after the Rams fumble and some other mental mistakes. It’s taking a while but he’s gotta earn Sean’s trust and he’s starting to. Quote
Rc2catch Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I think they’re finding the right balance finally. As the rush attempts go up the blocking gets better. Cook as the change of pace and receiver is working it’s way in and having success. Quote
Nelius Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 They should just stop all of the cute McKenzie handoff stuff. Even if it were Shakir just stop it. Let them both be wide receivers, we have a real gadget guy now. Those 3 McKenzie sweeps a game or whatever should now transition to finding Cook out in space. I thought he looked great tonight. 8 1 Quote
Scott7975 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Cook is good. The Bills just dont use him. Singletary is good. The fans just dont appreciate him. 12 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 He definitely looked like the player we drafted him to be. I'm good on trading for a RB, just get Cook involved more. Sign OBJ as soon as he's available and we are all set on offense. 3 1 Quote

Toyo321 Posted October 31, 2022 Author Posted October 31, 2022 After that abomination of a 2nd half tonight it sure as hell can hurt giving him the ball more. Dorsey has to start seeing this. Experience with this kid is going to do wonders for his play and confidence. But he has to be in the game plan more to get these reps and playtime under his belt.. Quote

We keep going heavy Devin to open a game where he is doing great, then like clockwork they pull him from the game plan. 1 Quote
Bferra13 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I'd be happy to let cook cook if it stops the terrible cooking references. Let... it... die... Quote
ColoradoBills Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Like I said in the post game thread, Dorsey should have handed to ball again to James at the 3. He was fired up after that big catch and moved it 4 yards from the 7. You got to let the guy prove he can punch it in. I would of gave him all 3 chances (maybe one a pass). If he couldn't you still score 3 and burn some clock. 3 4 Quote
