All out ugly. They obviously didn’t come prepared

Which part of 24-7 at the half did you miss?

🤣  He was sloppy. Period.  He needs to stop reading how great he is.  The entire team does.  Never seen a more talented team not show up for entire halves of games.  Coaching.

You just love this statement, don’t you? I’ve seen you make it several times in several threads lately. Sloppy play doesn’t mean they are “reading how great they are.” They’re making mistakes, but you must be seeing/hearing different things than I am, because this team constantly talks about cleaning up errors and team first

He is wrong about not sealing games.  What he should have said is the Bills don't play complete games.  Too many games this year they have not showed up for entire halves.

Remember last years game against the Cardinals where the Bills took off after that loss? I believe last night's game will be the catapult for this seasons SB appearance. This team will refocus and make their run

Come on.  The Bills were coasting in the 2nd half.  Even I was scrolling Twitter looking at random puppy videos during the game.  The Bills kept the D in their base Nickel with 5 DB's and dared the Packers to run the ball.  They did that.  They essentially drank poison slowly and that was all she wrote.  Coaching is fine.  Players are fine.  People want to be critical about a 2nd half in a game that everybody knew was over.  It only looked close in the box scores.

6-1 with wins over the other three current division leaders and a 1 1/2 game lead for the division title and #1 spot in the AFC.  Yep, time to sound the panic alarms and talk about how they are underachieving.  KC lost to Indy!  If we're that bad, KC must be in a horrific free-fall right now.

That was 2020 my friend.  I know I confuse the last 2 years games all the time.

Maybe it's because I'm really focused on the Bills but we do seem more error prone than most post season chasing on offense when it comes to drops, fumbles and penalties at key times. Especially considering the quality of player we have on offense.

But as I say, perhaps other teams do have these issues and, as I'm not so focused on them, I don't notice it as much.

Video of what he said

He literally said the Packers out played the Bills for 2.5 quarters, and teams like Philadelphia just blows teams away, while Buffalo lets teams back in the game.  I guess the +105 point differential (27 points more than Philly might I add) isn't good enough.  As for the statement about the Bills are too reliant on Josh Allen, what team with a Superstar quarterback isn't?  You never hear people say that KC is too reliant on Mahomes.  You never hear that the Bengals are too reliant on Burrow (Mixon only has 70 yards more than Singletary).  Why don't we hear about the Ravens being too reliant on Jackson?  What is Cowherd trying to say in this piece?  I'm super confused by it.

Yet he continously has compared the Bills to Tyson saying they either KO their opponents or lose the close ones.

He also made sure to informed everyone about GB's WRs not playing and one getting hurt in the game. But he fails to mention that we were without 2 All-Pro players in the secondary and we lost a 3rd All-Pro player back there during the game. Playing rookies and inexperienced players everywhere in the secondary, but can't figure out how GB was able to run on us. Good lord did he even watch the game?

Havent had a chance to post yet after yesterday’a game. Im seeing a lot of negative on here, which is concerning to me.

Yesterday we dominated the first half to the point I started getting bored. I started getting bored for the first time ever watching a Bills game where we were dominating.

In my opinion Bills players went in at the half thinking they were going to easily win in a complete blowout. They took the gas off the pedal, and in my opinion multiple players on the Bills - Especially Diggs and Davis - let Packers DB’s mess with their heads. They got into a battle of words and nonsense. That played to the Packers benefit. The game got ugly bc mentally we weren’t in it and we got sidetracked with nonsense. It affected the entire offense.

Thats just my opinion from yesterday’s game. Im not concerned at all. We need to refocus next week and play 60 min of sharp football.

Trying to only use point scored with the run game, like some people are trying to paint this discussion as, is a very deceiving stat though.

If that was the case, every team the Bills play can say they gave up next to no points running.

The run can setup the pass, so for people simply to claim "but they didn't score points running the ball" is completely disingenuous.

The Bills rarely do either.

We have a +105 point differential on the season.  Its #1 in the league by a big margin.  So what you are saying doesnt make any sense.

Our offense is 2nd in the NFL in points per game.  Not even 2 points out of first place.

Our defense is 1st in the NFL in points per game given up.

"The Bills rarely do either" is completely wrong.

The Vikings season is over! They came out of the bye week stale and only beat the Cards at home by 8 points. And they only won that game because Kyler threw them two picks. If they played a better team, they would have been stomped. The 4-4 49ers beat the 3-5 Rams, so they are winning the Super Bowl.

Did I do that right?

Good.

1) Running game looks better.

2) Bills are 6-1 and 3-0 at home.

3) Bills are pretty healthy.

Bad.

1) 27. 24. 23. 19. That is all the Bills have scored in 4 of their last 5 games. Troubling.

2) The Bills looked unfocused with all the trash talking before and during the game.

3) The run defense looked like last year's run defense.

First off you are cherry picking games here to try and point out some flaw.  You cant just scatter pick games.  Secondly, the Bills are the #2 offense in PPG in the NFL and #1 by a wide margin in point differential.  The Bills are the #3 offense over the last 3 games in ppg without cherry picking. That is 1.6 ppg out of first place over the last 3.

You cant just scatter pick games to try and prove some point and call it concerning.  You can do that for every team in the league.  You think other teams just score 30-40 points every game? They dont.

Easily the most dramatic gameday thread I’ve ever been in in my life…the game was never close

It was Aaron Rodgers close.  Rodgers has made comebacks in past hence why Bills did QB run up middle late in game.

It's not even the half of it though. He gushes about 49ers half the show...a team that's .500 and gave up 40 points last week!

He's been talking hard crap about the Packers...but now he's "intrigued" by them.

Today I honestly thought was Colin's worst take ever. I think he may have lost money on the game . He's spring loaded to hate the Bills and can't stand the guy anymore. I love the new guy on the show who calls him out on his b******* I don't think that guy will last long though you can tell he really rips Colin...and Colin no like.

He's hot taking things....maybe some kernels of truth, but screw him dude.

Meh. 1st half of Ravens and then this game 2nd half. Won both games.

I'm gonna say the phins game we consistently moved the ball but consistently goofed. That's the one we lost...yet should have won.

I think we were treating it as a trap. They'd keep running the ball until we switched things up to tighten our D at the line, at which point they'd go over the top. Particularly considering we were leading for the most part, it made no sense risking large chunk plays to try and stop an approach which was doing us a favour in burning the clock with very little gain on the scoreboard.

I agree.  I think the Bills thought the Packers were going to HAVE to start throwing the ball in the second half, and they stuck to their guns in being prepared for it.  It cost us in the run game with respect to yardage, but normally, if you're down three scores in the second half against a team with a competent offense, running the ball is not a winning strategy.  It did not turn out to be one for the Packers.  They never got closer than 10 points after our first couple scores and the Bills secured the win without much drama.  I'll take it.

Something we need to keep in mind is all the media keeps talking about is how great the Bills are, how they're the Super Bowl favorite, etc.  EVERY team we play is going to come at us with everything they have because they want to prove themselves.

I agree. Some business decisions on the run D there. Folks seemed to let up.
