Jones and Dillon are big backs that are tough to bring down.  Because of Rodgers, you can't keep your safeties up at the risk of him throwing over the top.  In truth, the Packers running the ball played into the Bill's hands as it ate clock.

I’d say a bit of the bye week hangover was evident. Gonna need a solid week of practice and intense focus for a good Jets defense next Sunday. And Josh knows that better than anyone.

People in the game thread are usually crazy so there is that.  Allen had a rough 2nd half - it happens.  And when you talk about regular season "2021" are you talking about Allen's games against Washington, TN, Houston, KC, NE, NO, NYJ and others?

 

This game reminded me of the Tampa Bay game last year but the half's were reversed.  In last years game Allen was off in the 1st half but tore it up in the 2nd half. Tonight Allen tore it up in the first half and was off in the 2nd half.

To me again, the biggest takeaway is that we need a power RB, that can get tough yards and grind when you need it like in the second half tonight. I really hope Beane can get something done. Probably a pipe dream, but imagine Jacob's on that team.

I respectfully disagree.  I thought BOTH Singletary and Cook played excellent tonight.  They played like the one-two punch this team needs, and if cook continues to develop and grow, our backfield, IMO, is set.  I am so happy Beane didn't just go out there and sign a RB before the trade deadline, or give away precious draft picks.

 

Week after week Motor continues to improve AND impress.  I have ZERO problems with Beane not acquiring another RB to this roster, and rolling with what we have.  

 

It's really a wonderful feeling to play a dreadful entire second half of football and still walk away with a double digit win.  This team is truly something special.

Post bye week games can be a little tricky. The fact we are so worried about a team that kind of coasted to a 10 point victory against a desperate team is pretty funny

The Packers heard all week how bad they were and how the Bills were going to steamroll them. They took it personally and came out and playing for their season and pride.  Bills still easily beat them despite it all.

There are Bills fans on this board that literally treated Kyle Orton better then they treat Allen it’s just something you deal with and yeh Allen’s greatness when he’s off for a quarter makes these people whine like little babies it’s what they do.

Gotta say that Tonyan OPI felt like a bit of a gift.  That would’ve changed the game.

This team is so schizophrenic. They can race down the field with huge plays and score, but when they are stopped close they just look out of sync. Dorsey needs to get to work on that. We need to fix our red zone offense and ball security.

 

The Bills have had 12 turnovers in the red zone and have lost 6 of them. That puts us at 6th on the list tied with the Jags and Bears who both have a game on us.

 

For comparison the Eagles currently lead the league with only 2 TOs in the red zone where they have lost 0 of them. There is a reason they have not been beaten and it starts with the fact that they are not beating themselves.

He still throws a beautiful ball but who’s he going to throw it too? Beyond that he’s clearly slower. Not just his legs, seems his trigger is slower too so he’s taking more hits, exactly what he doesn’t need as he looks way more frail on top of it all. I think he’s well over the hump.

Actually the Bills were in the process of steamrolling them and completely lost focus (especially on O). I don’t think GB playing for pride had a lot to do with it.

it was a clear push off and the only reason he got separation. Good flag.

Personally, I think Josh got caught up in the physicality and all of the jawing going on and wanted to bury them with a knockout blow. Because of that he got sloppy.
