ChevyVanMiller
Rest in Peace American director, producer, composer, lyricist, and author Jules Bass (September 16, 1935 – October 25, 2022), who co-founded Rankin/Bass Productions, with his friend, Arthur Rankin Jr. (July 19, 1924 – January 30, 2014). Their productions include Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964), Mad Monster Party? (1967), The Little Drummer Boy (1968), Frosty the Snowman (1969), The Hobbit (1977), Jack Frost (1979), and The Last Unicorn (1982). I can’t imagine my childhood without the characters he helped create.

Nextmanup
I know the name "Rankin/Bass" from The Hobbit cartoon movie they did many years ago. I loved that thing as a kid. They also did a similar movie regarding "The Return of the King" which I also loved. Wonderful artwork, great music, and outstanding voiceover work....all much better than what Mr. Jackson gave us in his films. If you are a JRR Tokien fan, check these old cartoon movies out!
