78thealltimegreat Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 This tweet made the rounds with the 49ers beat writer on Twitter yesterday and this man actually gets paid for his job 3 Quote

If our defense played poorly, we likely would've lost the game. But, they didn't... and we didn't. Edited October 25, 2022 by clayboy54 2 1 Quote
teef Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 that's some real twittering right there. 1 3 Quote
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 "if" the biggest two letter word in the dictionary... 1 Quote
Gobills14094 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 what a pathetic tweet, he's just looking for profile views. 1 Quote
Billsfan1972 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Then the Bills would've scored 50. Not a problem. Was never worried vs. KC until they got the ball back with one minute. As long as the Bills offence has the ball, I'm seldom concerned (even 3rd & 12 at the 2).😉 1 Quote
billsfan1959 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Ah, the old "If you would have played as bad as we did, you would have lost too" analysis. Kinda hard to argue with that... 1 Quote
eball Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 The bye week is over. Time to start meaningful (or at least interesting) threads again. Quote
Rc2catch Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Maybe if San Fran watched Buffalos defense they would have learned to keep everything in front of you and wouldn’t have been scorched by MVS over the top. And he conveniently left out that wasn’t Buffalos best ball on offense, however that WAS San frans best ball if they can’t dominate running the ball. 1 Quote
RobbRiddick Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Of course the offensive play selection for every single drive would have been exactly the same if KC was marching up and down the field Quote
ColoradoBills Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 When will people learn that every NFL game has a life of its own. All these "comparisons" are meaningless. Each week is unique. 1 Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Isn't this the case for all teams and all games? I don't know. Someone help me out. I'm asking. Quote

My only guess is that it was directed toward fans coming down on hard on Jimmy G. He’s blaming the SF defense for playing like crap, rather than blaming the offense (who also played like crap). 4 1 Quote
Bobby Hooks Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) This game is fun! So if the Chiefs defense played as poorly as the Steelers D we would’ve blown them out with Josh taking the fourth quarter off! Nice! Edited October 25, 2022 by Bobby Hooks Quote

I mean a couple plays different say a redzone fumble less and a 4th down converted and we maybe win by more than 7. What ifs are dumb. Quote
Ta111 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Yes, and if my aunt had *****, you know the rest. Quote
Nephilim17 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 And Kansas City would've been blown out by the Bills IF the KC secondary performed poorly. That tweet is probably the dumbest pro writer comment I've read in years. Quote

Definitely intended to indict SF’s defense, versus anything else. Quote
