BillsPride12 Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Halloween week is upon us....anybody have any Halloween specials they were really into as a kid or ones that still try to watch today? I grew up in the 90s so the Roseanne and Home Improvement Halloween episodes were always pretty solid. Simpsons Treehouse of Horror were fantastic in the heyday of the show. I'm gonna try to watch some Halloween shows this week to get into the spirit so just curious what everybody else was into. Quote
Another Fan Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 When MTV still played music videos, Michael Jackson's Thriller video was a staple for me every year The Chucky movies I might watch within the next few weeks As I get older and grumpier Halloween is easily my favorite holiday though 2 Quote

Nextmanup Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. That's the only one worth mentioning! All that great music from Vince Guaraldi and Schulz's amazing art on display. 2 2 Quote

If you go in understanding it’s a sequel 20 years later, and aren’t hoping for a spectacular remake, it hit its mark. Quote

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", is not only the best Halloween special, it is also the best Charlie Brown(Peanuts) special. 1 Quote

BillsPride12 Posted October 27, 2022 Author Posted October 27, 2022 Just caught a couple of the classic Simpsons treehouse of horror episodes last night as I was falling asleep. I forgot how good those were! Gonna have to watch a few more of those before Halloween is over. Quote
