Just watch the footage yourself if you havent seen it instead of guessing or going by what someone said.

I am the first person to be against a woman being brutalized and I’m not seeing what everybody else is saying there’s a lot of one person shoving another person into another person going on in this video

Im the same way and other than a kick in the rear (looks like thats where he hit) I really didnt think it was that bad.  A lot of pushing and shoving, like you said, at a girl they seemed to want her to leave but she stayed and instigated.  I expected a lot worse from the things I heard when I watched it.  Thats why I posted it for people to actually see what happened then form their own opinions.

I just watched the video again (gave it a cursory look in the past) and have to say...

a) it's not a good look: he's stinking drunk
b) being around young women when you're a wasted athlete is really, really dumb

c) lightly kicking the woman was stupid

d) I didn't see him brutalize anyone

So why did KC kick him off the team if this was everything? Because he lied about it? That's the extent of it?

This is no where near as bad as what Rice did but it's a bad look. Not scary, scary bad but dumb bad.

In light of the Araiza situation, and given what Kim believes in, I'd be shocked if we made a move for him. Just bad optics for a team that's great without him.

But just based on this video — if this is everything that he did wrong and I don't know if it is — he's not a monster or anything. If we got him, I wouldn't stop watching and denounce the Bills.

I'd like for the Bills to sign him for a 4rh or 5th round pick. That happened years ago and he's stayed clean. I want that Lombardi Trophy and I think he gets the bills closer to it.

As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. A single name if far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate.

Thank you.

I thought he kicked the woman after she fell down

Technically, yes. He kicked her. But if you watch the video objectively, I defy you to deny that he actually pulled his punch, so to speak. He feinted the kick. Stopped short. Was mostly for show. He makes contact, but he does NOT follow through with it. The caption would read, "Now GET the ***** out of here wit yo ass."

Is it acceptable? No. Is it criminal? Yes, technically. Did it intend bodily harm? No way. It intended shame.

She didn't deserve battery. So Hunt deserved punishment. Kind of simple.

It's kind of depressing reading through this thread and being reminded that we live in a "one strike, you're out" society. The justice system is supposedly meant to be a system of rehabilitation, but many people now refuse to ever forgive a person for one transgression, even if that person took full accountability for their actions and made every effort to be a choir boy for the next few years after that. I get that some acts are unconscionable and almost unforgivable, but not what Kareem Hunt did. As far as I know he did one awful thing ever in his entire life and took steps to rehabilitate his image after it happened. Here we are several years later with a bunch of Bills fans treating him like he isn't a human being capable of change, defining him by the worst moment of his young life. Pretty depressing.

Didn’t see this posted. Interesting if true as it’s the same price for Quinn.

I would probably make that trade. Maybe a 5th and throw in Moss?

Would you let him date your daughter/niece/close friend without bringing up his past? No one's saying that the guy needs to not exist anymore (or at least they shouldn't), but whether or not he should play football for your team and represent your city is a higher bar than the justice system.

And I'm a person that thinks we need a lot less prisons and people in them.

You do realize that he was NOT romantically involved with the woman right?  Hunts girlfriend was in the room with them and she and her girlfriends are the ones who the original altercation inside the room because the girl refused to leave after they found out she was under 21 and they were drinking.

The 2 women there were invited by one of Hunts friends to hang with them, not Hunt.

Why is that relevant to anything?

Has Josh Jacobs brutalized any women that we know of? I’d sleep better at night giving up a 3rd for him than a 7th for Hunt.

No disrespect...but people need to top reading sensationalized headlines and do some research.  He didn't brutalize anyone.

At what point in society did manipulated and sensationalized (and often completely fabricated) headlines from clickbait online media sources become news, facts, or information?

This is why we are the least informed first world country while also being the most misinformed first world country on the planet.
