Athletic with Joe Buscaglia does all 22 grades every week

Without knowing what the assignments are on each play, I have no idea how Joe B, PFF or anyone else can grade OL, or any other position.

If the Bills do make any big moves before the trade deadline this is probably the position they do it at.

Problem is there aren't going to be many teams looking to trade quality NFL guards unless they get a kings ransom in return, even the teams that are already finished and starting to look ahead to 2023.

Yeah, because every week coaches read PFF and fan message boards to find out how good or bad their players are.

<sigh>

Of course they don't.

Show us your source for Saffold being on the bottom 5 rated player every week.  Or did you read it in PFF, or maybe in a fan forum?  If that is your source, then you don't really have one.

Never said every week. I don’t have an opinion on Saffold’s play and haven’t focused on him. I recall a few posts, possibly linking or quoting part of a piece by The Athletic, that had him the bottom 5 for the team.

Edit:

3rd Worst rated (C+):

Worst rated (D+):

Worst rated (D-):

5th worst rated (C+):

The real issue is that teams aren’t looking to trade away cheap good offensive linemen. Oline players play well into their early 30’s so if you have a 24 year old stud guard on the last year of a rookie deal that player will still be around for any possible rebuild even if a team gets set back 3 years that player will be only 27/28 when that team is ready to compete and that player will be playing at a high level for 4+ years.

Now if you have an older guard on a big money deal a team will be willing to sell.

I don't think Saffold is 100%, but clearly RT is our biggest problem on offense and Bates' spot could use an upgrade too. I'm afraid there won't be anyone available at G or RT anyway and I doubt Beane is going to get desperate and make a bad deal.

Thought Saffold played well against the Chiefs

He did play well, he, hopefully is rounding into his spot with his new  fellow O lineman, that and the shoulder injury he was recovering from during training camp and early on this season, seams to have mended, 🤞
