stevewin Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 I love how the announcers rush through these requisite 'acknowledgements' of controversies to appear fair and balanced then can't move on fast enough to get off the topic and never mention it again Quote
HappyDays Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 To defeat the Dolphins you literally just have to take away the middle of the field. Easier said than done but Tua will never throw into tight windows outside the numbers. 1 1 Quote

The Frankish Reich Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 OK, it's Trubisky Time. Big 4th quarter comeback. Quote

And at some point, will Collinsworth criticize Tua for throwing those pickable balls? Not a chance. Collinsworth worships Tua. Quote
Solomon Grundy Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Kenny gotta stop thinking he's "pocket" Pickett and use his legs to pickup some of these 1st downs 2 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Where do they come up with these Next Gen stat percentages? Just totally ridiculous Quote

And if Tua were playing exactly like this for the Bills, we'd be saying "we didn't get Mahomes and Allen, but we finally have a keeper at QB." It's ok to settle, right? Quote
Beck Water Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 The Zebras certainly are ladeling out the penalties on Pittsburgh just when it looks as though they might get something going. Not that I’m conspiracy minded or anything 1 Quote
Bangarang Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 This Steelers offense is painful to watch. Everything is 3 yards and not much else. 1 Quote
Warcodered Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 any chance we try throwing the ball downfield? no okay. 1 Quote

HappyDays Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 (edited) Eh that's a pretty weak call. But serves them right for refusing to throw the ball more than 5 yards downfield. This is the late stage Trent Edwards offense. Gross. Edited October 24, 2022 by HappyDays Quote

Just totally ridiculous Yeah, those are ridiculously specific. Baseball does that now with defensive ratings, but in those we know exit velocity, launch angle, everything, so it's just a matter of physics to call a play a "10% chance of getting an out." But there's way, way too many variables in football. Quote
Solomon Grundy Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 I'm testing Xavien Howard with Pickens Quote
