Genesis of your screen name

A few weeks back a forum member asked me about the meaning of my screen name. I thought it would be fun during this down time to perhaps share some back ground with each other. 
 

I’ll start, I am a big fan of the Italian car brand Alfa Romeo and of course our Bills. Pretty simple really I made portmanteau of the two.

I was at Party Poker and needed a username. My last name is Silver, I was probably wearing a quiksilver tee-shirt and changed the spelling. 

[Sammy Watkins' Rib]

It's been a while but if my memory serves me right Watkins very first injury as a Bill was a rib injury he suffered in the pre-season before his first career game. There was a lot of doom and gloom from the fanbase around the injury. Little did we know at the time it would foretell an entire career of constant injuries for Sammy.

Mine comes from a Jimmy Buffett song. I may live in WNY, but my heart/ mind is always in the tropics. The tunes lyrics pretty much sum it up!

Songs seem to be popular choice.  Mine is from an obscure (non) folk song

Tom Sestak was the best player on the defense that led the Bills to two consecutive AFL championships.  I watched him as a very young kid and remember his dominance.  
 

Injuries forced him to retire before the NFL merger.  He is on the first team all time AFL Team.
