Rico Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 In general, I have very little respect for the Titans and their players, so his performance has been quite the revelation to me, GO DAQUAN!!! Quiz has been decent at OT too. 2 Quote
mushypeaches Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 I'll buy into that take - the guy has simply been money all year long. The number of runs that even get to the second level is the lowest we've seen since the Ted Washington era. It's amazing how much of an upgrade he's been over frigging overpaid Star. I get it - he's getting lots of help and he's not the only one on the line doing a great job. But the difference that he's making to our defense while relatively under the radar has been amazing 3 1 1 1 Quote
hemma Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 78% double team rate is just brutal. He has to be one tough sob just to get out of bed the next day. 1 5 Quote
CNYfan Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Not underrated to me. I was never a Star basher, but DJ is performing at a level or 2 above what Star gave us. I have been digging it and appreciative thereof. 3 2 1 Quote
MarlinTheMagician Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Couldn't agree more. The beef in the middle - both Daquan and Jordan Phillips -- makes a huge difference. And Shaq was a sneaky-good signing as he is very stout at end. 2 5 1 Quote
DollaBills Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Bills D line is championship tier. The depth is insane 1 2 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 DaQuan was a great signing. Tim Settle, on the other hand, is in the wrong quadrant of this chart. Quote
Don Otreply Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Jones has been stalwart, and that is putting it mildly, an understated acquisition by Beane, Go Bills!!! Quote
MarlinTheMagician Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Makes a huge difference that Jones and Phillips are stout against the run AND push the pocket. 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 We signed DQJ for two years but for how much? Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Jones is the most underrated signing in the entire NFL not just the Bills. 7 1 Quote
John from Riverside Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 I called that at the beginning of the season that guy in there that frees up our linebackers even when Tremaine Edmunds was not playing in one of the games the linebacker still worked outstanding 1 Quote
RocCityRoller Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Said it in the run game defense thread and I'll repeat it. Most underrated Bill this year. 1 Quote

Quote https://billswire.usatoday.com/2022/03/24/contract-details-for-buffalo-bills-dt-daquan-jones/ According to Spotrac, Jones’ deal carries a low base salary in 2022, $1.75 million, fully guaranteed. However, $5.5M will go to him via signing bonus as well. Then in the second year, Jones’ base salary jumps to $6.75M. Of that, $3.375M is guaranteed, bringing the total guaranteed figure to $10.625M. Combined over the two seasons, Jones essentially has a two-year, $14M contract locked in. 1 Quote
