I still think we will win it but it is going to be  very challenging. At the end of the standings I picture this: Buffalo, NY Jets and New England all make it to the playoffs

final standings

Buffalo 14-3 ( 4-2  against the division )

NY Jets 12-5 ( 3-3  against the division )

New England 11-6 ( 3-3 against the division )

Miami 8-9 ( 2-4  against the division )

Also Which division is better the ACF East or the NFC East ? All opinions welcomed !! GO BILLS !!

I'm taking the over on Zach Wilson getting hurt again.

The way GB is going how "good" of a win was it. I expect the Bills to win by at least two scores when they play on SNF.

The Jets money line was my first bet on Draftkings.

I doubt any AFC East team outside the Bills makes the playoffs

I just don't see them maintaining the momentum. But I am equally surprised with their start to the season

I do see a WC coming out of the AFC East. The AFC South is atrocious. The AFC North could get a WC, but as of now all of those teams look middling and they will beat each other up. The AFC West was overinflated. Chargers/ Chiefs out of that division.

Jets/ Dolphins/Pats could all be in play for a WC birth. Don't see a team in the East finishing worse than 8-9.

I'm waiting for the hot season start to move to a mid season reality check... But I'm being ignorant cause I don't watch much football outside of the Bills

And outside of that, they beat the Dolphins with a 3rd string rookie QB.

One good win against the Packers. The hype is unreal.

I'm not even sure the Packers can be considered a good win, they look really bad. Obviously have the talent to beat people but their missing something this year.

I will bet anyone on this forum any amount of money that the Jets will not make the playoffs.

12-5? Good Lord.

There's only one threat in this division. I've said this all year. It's the team that Bill Belichick coaches. The rest are jokes.

The Bills are going to go 5-1 in the Division.  They aren't losing to any of these teams, but the Jets and Pats will not go down easily.  I think the Jets or the Pats make the playoffs, but not both.  My money is on the Jets going 11-6.  I see them losing to the Bills 2x, the Vikings, and the Jaguars or Pats.  The Jets and the Jaguars are going to be very tough down the stretch.

Getting the #1 seed is huge for Buffalo.  We really don't want to have to play a team like the Jets or Jaguars, then the Bengals or Chargers, before having to head to Kansas City. Teams like the Jets and Jaguars can beat you up pretty good.

Going into this season I had the Bills going 4-2 in the AFC East.  Since we already lost to Miami I'm expecting a loss somewhere along the way vs. NYJ or NE.   It's the NFL, Division games will be tough.

And this is exactly why the Bills will destroy the division. Because we are elite and the rest of the division is only just decent to good. They will beat each other up all season and we will end up going 5-1 or 4-2.

anyone can look at what these teams are doing now and say what they think they will finish with. But fail to think about them playing each other and how it will play out. There’s no way both the jets and pats will end up with over 11 wins considering they play each other and the rest of the division.  Like someone already posted, the thought of the Jets only losing 2 more games is absurd. By that rationale, we won’t lose another game until sometime next season.

I do think someone in this division gets a WC.  Not sure who yet.  Everyone thought the AFC was stacked but through 6 games it looks like the AFC has two dominant teams and then a bunch of average teams.  For them its going to be about who they play and when they play them.

I dont see any team from AFC East beside Buffalo making the playoffs.

The wildcard teams will be second place team in AFC West most likely Chargers and North, probably Baltimore. Denver is toast and so too is probably Las Vegas.

Then you have the AFC South where as bad as they are, I think Tenn and Colts probably both make it perhaps with identical 10-7 records.

I'm skeptical that Miami, NE, or NYJ can get to 10 wins.

I pretty much agree with this but I would swap the Jets and Miami.

Jets are a young upstart team but I still don't trust MILF boy, but that defense will be a problem regardless. Also who have they beat of note other than a GB team that may very well be a non playoff squad this year. Last second wins against a bad Browns and Steelers team do nothing for me. And they beat the dolphins with their 3rd string QB in a game that was actually also close in the 4th quarter before wheels came off.

Dolphins should be fine once Tua is back, but the Pats are a team to keep a close eye on right now as they are starting to fire on all cylinders again like last year when they were also 1-3 and left for dead. I really think they may run the table up until our first meeting with them in early december on the TNF game.

Jets are going to make the playoffs.  They are without question the 3rd, 4th or 5th best team in the AFC.  There is a big drop off after the Bills and Chiefs, but there is a good argument the Jets are the 3rd best team in the AFC.

Jets are not going 12-5.  They have the hardest remaining schedule in the NFL.  NE isn't getting to 11 wins either.

I see both as 7-9 win teams.

Atl has been money too. You'd think there's enough savings betters to keep the line on track with where it should be, but people see ATL and blindly pick against them. Been loving it lol don't tell anyone else

Based on what? They've won four games through smoke and mirrors.

We see starts like this from paper tigers literally every NFL season.

Without question?  They beat the Browns by 1 point in a miracle game where it only happened because Chubb wants to pad his stats more than he wants wins.  They beat a terrible Steelers team when they benched Trubisky at the half on the last play of the game. They beat a Dolphins team playing their 3rd string rookie in his first NFL game with no game prep and they beat a GB team that looks decidedly average at best.  That was their best win.

I'm not sure how that gets them to 5th best team in the AFC.  Or maybe that just says how bad the AFC is compared to what we thought it would be.
