Royale with Cheese Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Yes. I knew he was be good but he's playing elite. I was figuring around a 10-12 sack season at best. I think he gets to like 16 sacks this year at the pace he's on. Quote

Brown are above average, but Armstead and Staley are also elite. Not to mention Bahktiari is up next and another meeting with Armstead is coming. Trent Brown is very good and he'll face Von twice. Throw in a couple tilts with Taylor Decker & Duane Brown and that's pretty much the best lineup of LT's you can put together minus Trent Williams. To have 6 sacks at this point is crazy. If Von's not still the best playmaker at the Edge position, he's on a really short list. Stanley didn’t play. It was rookie Daniel Faalele. who cares though…. Von Miller is doing exactly what we brought him here to do. I expected a lot from Von. He’s been my favorite non Bill in the league since the Von Miller thread back in 2011 where @1billsfan used a picture of Von Miller standing next to Vincent Jackson as proof of why we should draft him. He’s too small. LOL. Man oh man, there were some terrible takes in that thread. Von is the closer. He basically ended 4 different drives with 2 sacks a tackle and hurry. His first sack was on 2nd and 10. Next play 3rd and 19, incomplete. His second sack came on 3rd and 6. Drive over. The tackle on Mahomes from behind was the play that we couldn’t make last year. there was a chance Mahomes would’ve gotten that first down had Miller not dove and tripped him up. Just an epic play imo. I’ve give credit to Taron for his IQ play on the ball for the Gw interception, but Von forced that throw and is equally responsible. Drive halting plays. Game winning plays. Hopefully, Super Bowl winning plays. Carry on Von. 2 1 Quote

Pags24 Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Von has exceeded my expectations. Not just his play on the field, which has been elite.... but also as a teammate and leader. 2 1 Quote

We have talent all over the DL to make him excel and not be the primary target to stop. If you didn't notice yesterday, Von was doubled much of the time. He either had two on him, or help from the second TE or RB. Seldom was he singled up on the tackle. He still made plays and got a couple sacks. Mario won't make the WOF. Neither will Von. The WOF is all about long-term Bills contributors who were a part in making the Bills who they are. He sure is good, though. 2 Quote

Von Miller will be rotated as long as he plays for Bills, will have top rate training and medical service and he will have deep input in defense. This! So much of his game is football i.q too.. He looks as good as ever Quote
LabattBlue Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I will admit as his age, I was skeptical of the contract they gave Von. Based on his play in what was the biggest game of the season, I was wrong. Quote
