As I expected it was much better. But what adjustments did they make? Also did Spags call the dogs off a bit? It didn't seem like they blitzed as much in the second half.

Yes, I think the hole shot to Gabe and many hot reads to Diggs and Shakir backed him off

KC stopped sending all out blitzes after Allen killed them twice on the long TDs to Davis and Diggs.

The only sack on Allen today was the blatant tripping play by Jones. He should have been clean.

That was super obvious but also something you don’t see much.  Clear missed call

This.

It is what KC didn't do vs what we did.

It wasn't blockers getting beat as much as it was numbers. Allen got 2 of his pass TDs against the blitz and gets a third if McKenzie doesn't slip.

The adjustment is the hot read or a leak out and it requires the QB and receivers to make the same read. The best example outside the touchdowns was the play where Shakir turned around and Josh hit him with a quick pass.

Exactly. If you send enough guys, your QB is going to get hit because you simply don't have enough blockers, but you are really exposing yourself on the backend.

It might work for a while but once the Bills and Allen adjusted they got burnt.
