You WANT to have someone drive you 15 hours so you can go to work?  Yes, I’m sure it’s MUCH more comfortable than driving yourself, but still not an experienfe I would ever care to go through

Not so I can go to work, no, but I've driven midwest-NYS much of my life (visit family).  Also driven midwest - Rockies.  I do it, I don't like it.

So given that I have the long drive experience anyway, sure I'd like to see what the Luxe version of that experience is!   Someone else sweating the monotony while I watch a movie or catch some zzzzz's or play with my kiddo and sip a Pellegrino sounds like an upgrade.

Not a chance

And my question is, what kind of rib injury precludes you from flying?

I will bet the air carrier with knowledge of his ribs wouldn't allow him to fly due to some liability issues & insurance.

Who was the Bills player that lived in Canada and had someone drive him every day to practice and games?

I was thinking about that, it was a lineman about 15 years ago,  was it Melvin Fowler?

TBN reporter Katherine Fitzgerald tweeted that it was equipped to lie down (maybe a convertible bed?).

I don't want to minimize Poyer's dedication, which is formidable.  But he had a professionally-driven van likely equipped with WiFi, TVs, snacks and drinks, space for toys and games, space to nap, and his wife and daughter with him.   As long as he was willing to "play with the Barbies" on request, it was likely All Good.

My sources say it was an Astro van with the seats removed and a mattress added.

Right….. for 15 hours.  It sucks no matter what mode of transportation other than a cruise imo.  Definitely better and much more comfortable than driving yourself….but it sucks no matter what.  I can promise you that Poyers family was extreme not happy to arrive in KC and get out of that bus
