WTF? Why can't you fly due to a rib injury?

My wife (nurse) thinks it might be because a cracked rib could colllapse a lung.  Not likely, but the possibility exists.

Uh yeah I was 100% against a contract extension going into the season. But uhhh I’ll say I’m %67 against it now.

Why exactly are you any % against it, let alone so adamantly against it? I mean, outside of general trolling and pessimism. You seem to think you have a good reason

if you have a punctured lung that's healing the pressured cabin can cause problems

also airplane air pressure at 25000 feet is the equivalent air pressure you get outside if you are at 7000 feet in elevation or higher.

therr are many medical conditions where high altitude can be a risk for health.  I think itwas in the Pittsburg at denver playoff game thst Tebow one that a steeler DB couldn’t play because of the denver elevation and his injury because the high altitude caused problems.

i had perforated lungs twice in my life and both times I ended up in the ICU.

Those are nice damn vans. Especially if outfitted for travel. Climbers have them and they're beyond most camper RV's.

That's a team player.

I'm pretty sure the Bills will pay his travel and set him up for a comfortable ride. He should take an extra day on the way back, too.

The Steeler/Denver issue was the DB has sickle cell trait. Being at altitude can trigger a sickle crisis which is incredibly painful and can cause stroke and other organ damage.

My drive to work takes about 2 hours everyday… I can’t imagine a 15 hour commute to go chop wood in Arrowhead.

These guys continue to amaze me week after week.

You may not know this, but he is paid very well for his services.

And he was driven to KC.

Collapsed lung.  Someone said earlier in the week he had a punctured lung.
