A small personal comment: the game ended after midnight here in Germany, and it's now my birthday.

 

We have our second child due tomorrow (Tuesday), and I feel blessed.

Going into the Bye on this high mark feels incredible. 5-1 and a no doubt statement of who the freaking MVP of the league is.

 

Joshua Patrick Allen over came some defensive lapses, questionable offensive playcalling and player mishaps (McKenzie) and bad officiating and would not be denied. That hurdle on the game clinching drive is the stuff of legend. 

 

As corny as it may sound, I feel honored watching this kid leave his mark in the NFL.
