I solved it the easy way... I'm going to a friends house who has Spectrum. Otherwise I'd use the antenna to get WIVB.

In any event, find a solution. I think the Verizon/Nexstar spat will take some time to settle. Nexstar is increasing their rate 65%. That's some wild inflation Verizon will pass onto the consumer.

I would just sign up for Paramount+ to get the live CBS broadcast.

It's only $5/month and you can just cancel after the season.

Thanks, good idea, though, I may be able to get a free trial…

Also, hopefully, WIVB (Ch 4) gets off the schneid and urges Nextar and FiOS to come to an agreement!!

You can sign for nfl+ and get games on regular tv in your area

As others have said you can do OTA.

An Antenna at Walmart is $40. There are a lot of good channels OTA, too.

If your TV is newer than like 6 years it has a built in adapter for the digital OTA signal.

I have that too and I get mixed results. The games that you have access to are random and sometimes they will work on your phone but not a smart tv. You have no way of knowing what games are available until after they start.

Yep CBS does this all the time.  They have done it to Spectrum and dish and now Fios.  There was warnings on the screen during our last game that it was going to happen.  I have Spectrum but if I had Fios I would probably just get CBS all access like I did when they pulled before.  Fairly cheap and get the game.  I think its called Paramount+ now and not CBS all access but same thing.

I doubt there are any antennas left on the shelves in western New York by now. Spectrum has a roku app.

Not to mention I'm sure there are FIOS customers in this market who are not within OTA range.
