Kelly the Dog Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Other than the standards, score more points, run and stop the run, third down conversions, what is your specific key or keys to the game where you think if they do this one thing well, they should win. To me, it is quick flat or swing passes to Henry and Willis that are, in effect, running plays. It will get them outside the big lugs up front and put pressure on the DEs, OLBs and DBs to come up and make stops at the LOS. Travis, especially, is great at making the first man miss. They don't have to be huge gainers, but can pick up a lot of first downs.
EndZoneCrew Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 getting the lead is crucial....so many times last year we were playing from behind....thus making Bledsoe throw...we CANNOT do that this year....with our defense we absolutley need to score on the first drive...get the 12th man fired up early!
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Pounding the ball, getting a couple turnovers, but mostly want to see a hard-fought game that is won with some difficulty, not a flashy blowout like last year. Let's set the bar low and work hard every week.
