Warcodered Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) Well that sucks for Rodgers, guy can't catch a break like his WRs can't catch a football. Edited October 12, 2022 by Warcodered 1 7 Quote
Logic Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Great news. This is definitely the most sensible approach. Have him ease into practice today, then have the full bye week to ramp up. Hopefully he can be active by the Green Bay game. It seems almost unfair that the 2nd ranked scoring defense in the NFL gets to add an All-Pro corner at the midway point of the season. Pretty awesome. 12 12 Quote
LeGOATski Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Welcome back, 27! The Bills have a bright future at CB. Hopefully all these guys are healthy for the playoffs. 7 1 Quote

Virgil Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) I honestly feel bad for the development for some of our guys. I may catch a ton of flack for this, but if Benford and Elam continued to produce, I don't know that I wouldn't trade Tre in the offseason if the contract allowed it. This is nothing against Tre, but we've been very solid against the pass with our DB's and our schedule only gets easier. The money Tre gets could easily help towards resigning Oliver, Davis, and others. Again, I like Tre a lot, but have we really missed him? Elam got beat up a bit against the Steelers, but he's honestly our 3rd DB at this point behind Dane and Benford. The deep shot to Waddle was on our safeties. Flame away, I know it's coming Edited October 12, 2022 by Virgil 6 2 6 1 1 1 21 4 12 Quote

Big Turk Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Smart...get him out there practicing for a few days before the bye, see how he does, give him some more time to rest up and then full practice after the bye 2 1 Quote
Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 We will go from having a thin cb group to an embarrassment of riches. In a couple weeks, we'll have Tre White, Dane Jackson, Kaiir Elam, Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, and Xavier Rhodes. I think we splits reps to ease Tre back and keep everyones' legs fresh. 4 Quote

He allows them to match up man and basically erase a WR virtually anytime they want to and allows much more flexibility to run various coverages and disguises than they can run without him. But how often does McD ever want to run man? It's not really who we are. 2 Quote

34-78-83 Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 The Bills sure seem to have a handle on managing their players injury recovery paths. I think it's yet another variable that will attract future FA's. 3 3 Quote

Flame away, I know it's coming It's not White. It seems obvious to me that this Poyer's last season in Buffalo. My bold and totally unsubstantiated prediction is that Taron Johnson will be a safety next season and White, Elam, and Benford will be the corners and slot corner, respectively. The starting safeties will be Hyde, if he recovers, and either Johnson or Hamlin. Ultimate flexibility - start five guys with cover skills and can tackle. 3 1 1 Quote
