The police should have just escorted him off as requested.........problem solved. He catches another flight later and that's that. No big deal for OBJ.........I was in NYC past couple days and his Uber Eats ads were prominent........none of the parties comes out looking sensible for this little disagreement but having ultimately de-boarded without incident certainly doesn't HURT OBJ's profile one bit. Flight attendants seemed like they enjoyed the drama they were acting like he was completely out of it which he wasn’t - OBJ should have just put his seatbelt on but I understand if you’re sleeping and someone wakes you up. Once they asked him to leave he should have but he wanted to cause a scene at that point bc he felt it was not necessary to be removed. Quote

SCBills Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I would absolutely sign him to WR2 this off-season. Much rather a FA signing in OBJ than a trade for Hopkins. The next option is likely Jakobi Meyers, a clear WR2/3 to pair with Davis opposite Diggs. I have a feeling Beane won’t go into the Draft still needing to fill that WR role. We saw what happened last year with Chiefs jumping us for McDuffie then us trading up for Elam. I doubt he wants to be picking late RD1 having to hope we don’t have another bad luck WR run before we draft in RD1 or 2. 3 Quote

Expand Adding another very good WR2 is their biggest single "need" and I agree that waiting for it in the draft isn't a smart idea. If OBJ is right then he'd be a very good option. And I was never a huge fan of Michael Thomas because I like WR's who get open and he basically had the greatest contested catch WR season ever when he put up 149 grabs...........but with the NFL now allowing mugging in the secondary his skillset becomes more important...........he'd be a very good strategic add WHEN he is released and IF he will take a reasonable 1 year prove it deal. Then you draft a receiver to hopefully replace Davis in 2024 with some upside as a potential WR1 or WR2. 2 Quote
T master Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I think if the Bills truly want to upgrade at the WR position they should at the very least bring him in for a work out then offer him a decent salary with a bunch of incentives in the contract so that if he does come in & stink up the joint he will get paid accordingly & would be more motivated to perform . Expand Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir, and Isaiah McKenzie are the only WR's under contract. Considering McKenzie was healthy scratched down the stretch, he may or may not even be here. So they're going to have to address the position heavily regardless. Whether that means they'll be looking to get someone as a #2 above Gabe or not.
