Yeah Mike.  He was playing well in the playoffs last year and was a significant portion of why the Rams won the SB.  A soon as he was hurt in the game, the offense sputtered.  Beane wouldn’t bring him one r if the team doctors and trainers didn’t sign off on his health from the surgery.  I’ve heard enough doctors on various sites like NFLR who say the liklihood of a second ACL after a first one is significant.  We’ll, he’s had two now.  Someone else will pay him a much larger number than us next year.  He’s a rental for the drive to win the championship this year.

 

We have enough draft capital, and Shakir will likely continue to develop into his 2nd year.  So bottom line, is no draft picks to give up, a short contract to finish this year, and only if he’s 100%.  Why wouldn’t a Bills fan want that to close the year strong.  We already have barring no other Hyde like injuries the deepest roster in the NFL.

Well… those are the picks that the Bills use to select their WR’s in the draft

You need not bother until after Thanksgiving at least.  The soonest he could play is mid December and it is highly unlikely anyone will offer him a contract until he can demonstrate ability to play this year.

To the Bills they are. Laugh all you want but the Bills have been great at drafting players in rounds 4-7. 
 

Since either McDermott or Beane have been here the Bills have drafted:

 

Matt Milano- 5th round

Taron Johnson-4th round

Siran Neal- 5th round 

Wyatt Teller- 5th round(mistake)

Jaquan Johnson- 6th round

Gabriel Davis 4th round

If I had to guess, the bills won't even bring him in for the regular season (assuming they'd sign him). Bet a 6 pack they'd sign him for the playoffs. Why bring him in to risk injury? Maybe sign him with a few weeks left in the season and get him up to game speed

This is the example of why you trade the early rounds for known commodities in the league once you have your QB.

And although they weren’t drafted by Beane it’s worth mentioning that Diggs, Hyde, Poyer, and Daquan Jones were day 3 picks as well.

Yeah very true. Still it's like waiting for that mail to arrive. Got Vin Miller talking about it all the time and OBJ tweeting lol.

OBJ is in ring chasing mode. Buffalo is the flavor of the moment. His buddy Von is here and putting on the full court press.  He probably hears great things about Allen, his gun, and getting the WRs the ball. He hears about the “Mafia” and all the fun we’re having here.  Assuming he can actually play at a high level again, i believe he will sign here, specifically for this playoff season.  Not sure of anything beyond that.
