Joe Biden is clearly exhibiting symptoms of cognitive decline, you can admit that right?

  1. 1. In your opinion does Joe Biden exhibit clear symptoms of cognitive decline?

  2. 2. If you answered no to the 1st question, why are you a partisan hack?

    • Because I'm a moron
    • Because I'm a PPP troll.

These lefties are the same idiots that said I was making it up when I said Joke was senile although I had seen it every day living with my mother the last several years of her life. She died of dementia. I think Kemp was the most vocal and that was the reason he's the only person I banned.  Hasn't posted since the draft last year.

Kemp….the doors a’closing poster.  Classic.

Yup and that's the point.  I think we can agree that our President being demented is one of the most serious issues there is.  That the Dems who were around him and knew it but who lied to everyone and got the press to do the same is frightening.  Never mind those people who saw it and still refused to admit it.  Which is why I laugh when they call MAGA a cult.

I kind of remember that being a criticism of the people around Reagan starting around his second term.  Completely different media landscape at the time though obviously.  Another difference was Reagan was an excellent president.

It’s a fascinating thing to watch, the evolution of silliness on JBs condition.  At least they finally moved away from “He stutters a bit”.

But does it matter?  The country was doing well when he left.  Maybe not perfect, but well.   And now, it's arguably days from veritable economic disaster.  Maybe, just maybe, we should stop worrying about old news and begin to have a *little* concern about the ability and wherewithal of the fool who is driving this country toward an economic abyss.

It doesn’t matter to you, perhaps, because you were a fan of his agenda.   As for the country doing well, there were scores of people protesting all sorts of things that implied otherwise.  The unfairness of having to honor debt incurred.  People not paying their fair share.  The inequity of the tax rate beginning at precisely $400k.  Oligarchs behind every tree in every city in America. Socioeconomic climate inequities.  The rights of the establishment v the rights of parents.

On the other hand, quite obviously tens on millions of people rejected the notion that the country was doing well and voted accordingly.

You’re free to push on and never give a thought to Biden, but I don’t feel inclined to follow suit. I will say that I believe the collective devotion of hardcore leftists (and more than a few centrists and moderates) to overzealous and heavy-handed government under Biden lead to the election of DJT.  In that regard, I credit (or blame) you (the collective) more than everyday Trump supporters.

Be that as it may, and to honor your request to push on,  what exactly do you mean by “veritable economic disaster”?  What do you see happening in the next several days, and what are the ramifications long term?

Liquidity lockup.  Look at bond yields.   Out debt is not attractive.  It’s like the plumbing of the economy.  Who buys this stuff?  China.  Japan.  Europe.  All the people were pissing off.  I have no desire to relive 2008.   We can’t afford it.  But this fool and his tariffs (for what purpose again?) have us headed precisely in that direction.

Thanks.  Were you comfortable with the business-as-usual approach pre-Trump-tariff?  Do you feel that the country was on the right track, economically and fiscally?  Were we prime for a substantial correction in your opinion?   Assuming worst case scenario as you see it—does the economy recover in a year, two, or never?

I have no hidden agenda in asking, I just try to deal with what’s in front of me and control what I can.  To that end, my plan remains the same. Understand that emotion often drives the market, and we have lots of emotion in play these days (some driven by those that prey on emotion in the market).  Save. Invest. Diversify. Consume appropriately.  Keep panic at bay remembering the message points of 2008, 1987, the lean oil years of the 70s and all that came before.

If anyone can hurt him, it's the masters of the universe in business..  reportedly, it was Jamie Dimon that influenced hm to do the 90 day thing.  Can they get him impeached?  prob not.  But they can certainly put the screws to him.  They could buy some congressional seats like Musk tried to do with a judge in Wisconsin.  They would be more discreet.  And likely more effective.  Whatever it takes but within the law.  otherwise we become them.

1.2026 congressional election.

2. 41% approval and dropping.

The only poll that matters….here in April 2025

Well, you directly profited from the monetized health care system, and espoused an every man first himself approach.  It makes sense you would want to continue to feed the system.

socialist!  every man for himself didn't blossom til trump came to power again.  give examples of his admin helping the less fortunate.  btw, I have and still support universal health care.  Not gonna happen in the foreseeable future. So when in Rome, do as the Romans...
