fergie's ire Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Yeah, I was just thinking about how disappointed we would be if something happened and we don't make the playoffs. We expect to do more than just make the playoffs...they are almost a given. But the 17 years ended not very long ago. Now the consensus among media is that we have the best roster. At the start of Josh's rookie season not only was the consensus that we had the worst roster but that we had a historically bad roster. The change is pretty amazing. 1 Quote
sfbillsfan Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) I remember being petrified when it was 3rd & 2 to go for a first. I remember Peterman completing a pass to the flat for a touchdown, for the wrong team Edited October 11, 2022 by sfbillsfan Quote

cwater10 Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) I remember when Al Cowlings was just another first round bust. I remember when other first round picks cried when we drafted them. I remember when still other first round pics defected to Canada when we drafted them. Finally, two words to sum it all up: Aaron Mabin Edited October 11, 2022 by cwater10 Quote
Comebackkid Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I remember when every first round draft pick was going to turn things around the next year. I remember every year thinking this is the year Brady retires .. Wait, I still do! Quote

Da webster guy Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I remember when our owner was a cheapskate and our GM's were mediocre at best. Now we have a great owner and a top GM, plus an elite qb locked for 10 years. Quote
