It really is crazy that Patrick Mahomes is an underdog at home this week. For all the naysayers, that really says all you need to know about this Bills team.

Let’s go, Buffalo!

19 and 1, BABY!!!!!!!!

Poz-lus-ney!!!

Nah according to that Tweeter they’ll just keep the guy Taron would cover on the sideline so he doesn’t play

We should tell them it's Kelce or something.

Can you imagine if the Bills drive down late in the 4th quarter and take a lead but give the Chiefs the ball back with 30 seconds or less again?

Just thinking about the collective pressure that would be on McD/Frazier/etc in that circumstance is almost hard to fathom as flashbacks to the playoff loss would be inevitable. Can only hope it doesn't come down to that again.

Im sure you are getting all tingly inside just thinking about it.

Anyone have a sense if Benford will play? I think he still had the red non-contact jersey on, so I assumed no. But then he isn’t listed on the injury report?

My guess is he will be active in case of injury or part time relief but wont see many snaps if at all.  Id rather have Elam out there than a guy with a club.  If Elam gets toasted all day maybe that changes.

I'm sure you DON'T hope that happens again lol

did the guy even glance at a roster sheet before tweeting?

Probably what he literally did...maybe on his phone while driving or something.  Surely didn't look for very long.

I'm thinking more like we are up by 13, ball on their 13 yard line, take a timeout with 13 seconds left and then JA throws a TD to #13! Will change the whole narrative on 13.😁

I think we will certainly see him on S/T, possible he gets some run at CB...but think Elam gets multiple series to start, and Benford only comes in if he's struggling.

I'm curious who our 5 inactive will be since these have been filled with injured players in weeks past...my guess:

1. Kumerow- obviously out

2. Phillips or Bryant - lean toward Phillips resting hammy.

3. Murray OL

4. Spector LB

5. Whose #5?  Cam Lewis? Or surprise Moss inactive.

Maybe that's the Bills secret weapon against Kelce? Ever see what a hard casted clubbed hand can do if it mistakenly gets up a little too high on a jam at the LOS?

If Knox is fully ready to go, Sweeney is a possibility.

I think Benford will play.  Dane Jackson will start.  I don't know whether Elam or Benford will start across from Jackson, but I think both will have reps.

I actually don't expect a brackett on Diggs.  Spags expects dudes to handle their side of the field.  Even rookie 4th and 7th rounders...who will be starting.  I DO NOT expect McDuffie out there.  He has practiced this week, but Ried VERY RARELY brings back dudes off long term injuries on one week of practice.  I'd say at this point he won't play.  Snead will be moved around the field and mostly play in the slot, whoever is there.  I suspect KC won't roll coverage to Diggs or Davis..but give two high look and play it straight up, with Snead or even one of the outside corners being called to blitz a couple times during the game.

I think you'll see a very steady diet of 4 man rush, with Bolton spying Allen.  Spags will give some blitz looks and they'll almost always bail back.  Going to invite the Bills to run.  Going to try and force Allen to stay in place and pass.

Jaylen Watson - Rookie 7th rounder starting on one side.

Joshua Williams - Rookie 4th rounder on the other.

They won't follow a guy, but will play a side for the most part....I'd start whoever will be on the outside between McKenzie and Shair.

Dorsey needs to open up pre snap motion against rookie CB's and with a defense that doesn't have leadership in the backfield necessary to make the calls.

My early move is to move Knox out wide in presnap with Gillam motioning to the wing/flanker. Who they want to cover with Singleterry in the backfield in 21 personnel is going to be 1 key.

If I'm the Chiefs I have to extend my nickel against Knox, LBs 1 on 1 to Gillam and Singleterry. The safeties have to be cover 2 deep.

This can let Singleterry run a route or block. A dump off works. Davis is going right down the sideline deep seam split decoy.

But my first play is a screen to Singleterry from this formation. I set a basis for what the Chiefs want to do.

I line right back up at the LoS. Diggs 7 yard out post. Knox runs inside. Davis stutters at the line boxes his man out. Play action to Singleterry. Gillam has already leaded to the next level and can block.

We keep the personnel package the same series. We don't sub. We don't run high octane. We don't huddle.

3rd play, we pass. Singleterry blocks, Gillam blocks.  We see what they want to do with who coming in the pocket.

Shall I continue?

Wrong post.  Too late now. But in reference to who we make inactive...

Sweeney, kunerow, Murray, Spector, Lawson

A 50% Phillips is more valuable then an edge contain Lawson.

I like Lawson in this matchup. He doesn’t get to the qb but he keeps the qb from escaping (and throwing ) from his side out of the pocket. He plays lamar so well. Mahomes kills the Bills rolling right
