Process Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Shakir is +400 anytime TD. If he's our starting slot now (or really regardless if he's the "starter" or not) that's really good value in a likely high scoring game. Hmmm. 2 Quote
Scott7975 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 I cant wait for this game. I was thinking about this earlier... these two teams are so good that if one of them were in the NFC there would probably be a lot of Bills - Chiefs super bowl games over the next decade. I'm not saying every year because a lot happens including luck but I dont feel there is an NFC team on the same level as these two teams most of the time and I dont feel there is another AFC team on their level either. This should be a great game. Go Bills! Quote

This should be a great game. Go Bills! Eagles? Their defense looks legit. AJ Brown really makes a difference in their offense. Jalen had really improved his passing game and is ultra dangerous with his legs. Its early but they look legit. 4 hours ago, Playoffs? said: 1) Be a man… answer the first question and be honest. Who is the team you root for? 2) after the Bills played in KC in week 5 last year, do you remember their records? I’ll help. Buffalo was 4-1, and KC was 2-3. One team had homefield advantage all playoffs. Which one was that? Don’t tell me with any kind of certainty that the winner of a week 6 game will have a home game in the AFC championship. The winner Sunday certainly has a leg up on home field advantage. Of course, it isn't a given and I don't think anyone said it was. Quote

And just to emphasize the point you are making in #2...neither KC nor Buffalo had homefield throughout the playoffs last year...it was TEN who wasn't as good as either team and couldn't get out of the first round. So to your point, grandiose and definitive pronouncements of what this game means to the rest of the season are somewhat stupid. Disagree. This game is big and realistically could be a decider in home field advantage. Not sure why there is so much defiance in acknowledging that? Both teams are 4-1 and it's quite possibly the tie breaker comes in play. Sure its early but the statement that this game could be a decider for home field advantage is valid. Go ahead and mute me if you like. 3 hours ago, LABILLBACKER said: Yeah Butkiss and Bass probably won't factor in alot Sunday other than xp's. Extra points can be huge too. 1 Quote
John from Riverside Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 A loss won’t kill us but let’s face it this is a game right before a bye week so we would have a long time to stew over it before our next game 1 Quote

Sure, the game becomes a decider if things are that close at the end of the season, but I think it’s way too early to be worrying about home field advantage with 2/3 of the season remaining. If the Bills do lose, the season is far from over, and they’ll be just fine. 1 1 Quote

Next game the Chiefs play, nothing about the team they are playing, just all about how they beat buffalo. Id rather hear about the Chiefs after a loss to Buffalo. 2 Quote

Playing for the Seahawks now. Caught a 50 yarder last year and was still being used for a track star with Chicago. I say this with surprise because like many here the drought did something to my perception of time. I thought Goodwin played here like a decade ago. 1 Quote
eball Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 It really is crazy that Patrick Mahomes is an underdog at home this week. For all the naysayers, that really says all you need to know about this Bills team. Let’s go, Buffalo! 19 and 1, BABY!!!!!!!! 2 1 Quote

It has no barring on the outcome of the game or if the Bills will win. If you are going to bet the game then it matters. Other than that all the hype is just external noise. Then Jackson tweets back like "hey, uh. I'm here. So is Lynch" and McCoy saying he forgot. 😂 Early in the season Rex Ryan in his first year didn't even know the guy. He just said " the kid who fumbles a lot" I will agree Jackson was on Bills in 2014 with Brown. But Lynch was in Seattle starting his 4th full season. So not sure the quote was correct. As a footnote, all 3 were on 2015 Seahawks roster as Fred and Brown were cut in Bills camp by Rex Quote
