DJB
Eagles are a fraud team so far to me

Don’t ***** where you sleep? Our schedule isn’t exactly a gauntlet to end the year either, and we’ve also benefitted from a very light schedule 3 years in a row heading into this year Though part of the reason why it, on paper, is quite soft after week eight is we have played/will be playing the Rams, the Titans, the Ravens, the Chiefs and the Packers in five of the first eight weeks. Our schedule is top heavy. I suppose at the start of the season we would have said weeks 11-13 would have been the tough spot for the Eagles, against the Colts, Packers and Titans. Otherwise, other that the Cowboys, it looked soft from the off.
Generic_Bills_Fan
Dallas is gonna be real tough with Dak back imo…Philly could lose both those games. Dallas seems much better to me than Philly Edited October 10, 2022 by Generic_Bills_Fan
Big Blitz
It's the Eagles and Bucs. One of them is going to the SB Edited October 10, 2022 by Big Blitz

If Tua can come back and play at a similar level pre injury I still think they are a serious contender. msw2112
The schedule is what it is. A team can only play who is on it. Give credit to the Eagles for winning all of their games so far. I agree that they are not as good as the teams at the top of the AFC like the Bills and Chiefs. They may be in the range of the next tier of AFC teams - Baltimore, Miami (before Tua's injury), LA (Chargers), Cincinnati, Tennessee, etc. I wouldn't call them a fraud - they've played good football, in particular on defense and at QB. The Bills had a similar situation a few years ago (maybe 2019), when they played a bunch of weaker teams.
Beast
I hope they get home field and make it to the big game. I would love to smash the Eagles face. I hate all teams Philthadelphia.
Coach55
This was not a bash the Eagles thread. They are a good team. The point of my post is that if you don't play anybody that is any good, how can you determine how good you are. Come the end of the season, they have a schedule that could allow them to post one of the best records in NFL history (15 or 16 wins is not inconceivable). But until they play a real opponent, it could all be smoke and mirrors. The Bills had a nasty lead in to their season and if they hit the bye 5-1, I consider it a massive telling of how good this team is. After Green Bay, the toughest game on paper is going to Cincinnati (who everyone seems to have written off already this year). I would argue that the 3 if not the 4 best teams (actual best teams not based on their current record) in the NFL are in the AFC and overall the AFC is materially better than the NFC. LeGOATski
It would be cool if the Bills face the final NFCE team in the Super Bowl and win....
klos63
Lot of crappy teams in the NFL, every schedule is littered with them. Look at some of our opponents.

billsfan89
Eagles play in a suddenly tough division. Cowboys defense is real and their offense is getting it together despite Dak being out and the Giants are no joke both teams at 4-1. Commanders stink though. Bills!Win!
Good. Best scenario for us is we play the 18-1 eagles in the super bowl because they got through their easy schedule. Plus the nfc is garbage this year

John from Riverside
That’s why I really don’t mind the tough schedule yeah you lose more games but you’re more ready to be good teams whenever it matters barring injuries 3 hours ago, FilthyBeast said: If Tua can come back and play at a similar level pre injury I still think they are a serious contender. without a drought
They can go 17-0 or 5-12, it really doesn't matter.

Not arguing with the claim that we didn't take full advantage of our schedule, but we played 3 strong division winners and 10 teams with winning records. The Eagles will likely only play half as many teams (exactly 5 right now) with winning records and only play 2 division winners (one of which is the AFC South which is garbage compared to last year). Unless of course they lose their own division to the Cowboys. The two schedules aren't that comparable.
ChronicAndKnuckles
The Eagles got very lucky on a missed short field goal yesterday. I think they are good, but not elite. I am impressed with Jalen Hurts’ progression though. He was the worst starting NFL QB at one point.

Kyler Murray has to be super frustrating if I was a Cards fan...he is OK, but gets down far too frequently in games and relies on big comebacks often... Then he slides on 2nd down before the sticks and spikes the ball to stop the clock on 3rd down forcing a 43 yard FG when they had plenty of time left on the clock to either get closer or score a TD. Just no awareness of the situation, although the coaching staff has to take some blame since they could have been telling him to run a play to get the First Down instead of spiking it.
