You take what the defense is giving you.  If the defense if giving you the deep ball, why would you not take advantage of it when you have JA17 and our receivers?

No offense to McKenzie but Shakir might have his job pretty soon. Better hands and more dependable, creates more after getting the ball, better instincts.

Shakir is going to be a stud...but there is a lot to learn as a WR in terms of sight adjustments, blocking downfield, etc that keep him off the field more than just talent.

 

No need to force him in until he is more comfortable with the Shakir.

Shakir looked lost when pushed into action in the Titans game when Davis was hurt. But he has settled down and has shown he can be a factor in the passing attack.
