Bills should bring Mitch in so he can win 11 games here while josh relaxes ahead of the playoffs

Man it would be nice if Josh could take a couple weeks “off” at the end of the year.  I know it won’t do much for the MVP race, but if the Bills could somehow have the #1 seed locked before the last week of the season, what an advantage to be able to sit key starters for 2 weeks of rest, while everyone else plays.

Idk the rusty factor scares me. We've seen 1 seeds come out looking flat in divisional round a decent amount. I'd still want josh to play a quarter minimum

I hear ya, but I’ll take the zero risk of injury over worrying about a little rust.

I was joking.  Trubisky is a bum

Another good option is bringing back Fromm.  I’ve read here how awesome he was and that he just needed a chance to play .  I bet Fromm can win us 11 too.

Feel a bit sorry for Mitch; he played better on Sunday than either Wilson or Ryan did yesterday (an they haven't been much better across the season) yet he was pulled whilst those two were allowed to continue stinking the place out.

He was absolutely terrible Sunday.  Completed 7 passes. and int. 3 sacks.

He is a massive draft bust.

I think money Mitch’s days as a starter are over he will settle into being one of the best back ups in the league now

I think he may be two years away from taking league mini’s and getting cut in camp. EJM style

I didn't think he was absolutely terrible, but a nimble QB is needed behind that O Line rather than a pocket passer.

Starting quarterback? Probably not. Worse than Wilson and Ryan? On Thursday's showing - no.

he absolutely was terrible.  3rd best QB on a bad team

if you pick one game for Ryan/Wilson vs the awful body of work by Trubisky, yeah maybe.

Guys…. I don’t know what your expectation is for a backup, but there are 32 starters in the league and half of them are terrible. Realize that every backup will be worse than that.

If you consider Mitch Trubisky the 33rd best QB in the league, he’s the best backup. Let’s lower the bar and the hate to a reasonable level here.

Steelers Benched Mitch Trubisky After Confrontation With Teammate, per Report

Quote

Trubisky and Johnson reportedly got into a heated confrontation in the locker room during halftime of the Jets game. The receiver apparently yelled at the quarterback to throw him more passes. This came after Johnson missed a pass in the first half, resulting in an interception, and stepped out of bounds during a potential touchdown play. Trubisky then told Johnson his concerns, and the conversation got out of hand.

We're 10 games away from that scenario.  Let's pump the brakes a little bit.
