Insiders should know that Zimmer is something like a force. Prince Emili made a game-changing play in Baltimore, but Zimmer should help increase the pressures and sack totals.

The deflection was a big play, but Jackson threw it into his helmet.  Not sure how much of a play that is other than he was in the right place.  Zimmer healed up in a player.  It makes me thing Ed Oliver is a long term injury.

Zim as our short yardage RB…, likely more effective than Moss, just sayin 😂

Negative, reported only as "knee injury" but grapevine said it was ACL.

You might be confusing him with Boettger who tore his Achilles.

Yea you are correct

He's a real blue collar, hard-hat-wearing, bring-your-lunch-pail-to-work kind of player.  He's also very articulate.

Did I miss anything?

He embodies the buffalo culture. The kind of guy who would come from this area.

He doesnt plays off and earns his paycheck.

I was and remain a Zimmer fan. Best wishes to Emili for sure !

Make him our version of Ricard? Hmm. I might enjoy that experiment.

That dude is sick I would be sincerely concerned if i had to tackle him after five yards and some inertia built up  lol

For everyone remembering Prince's play to help us close out that game, let's not forget Zimmer's play to close out our last victory in a one score game.

Hard to forget post a few posts before yours.

If you cut someone from the Practice Squad and resign them a few weeks later (if they're still available,) does the number of call ups reset?

I've tried to find that answer and could not find anything specific.

I also looked to see if the rule changes if a player is assigned to the 53 full time and then returns to the PS.  Still nothing.

What I do keep reading is a player can only be called to a team's main roster up 3 times for the season, so I would say no.

I guess I would speculate that if another team signs a player who formerly was on another practice squad, it would reset for the new team.

I know, no real help, but I tried.  LOL.

I have been calling for this for three years. Daboll wouldn't listen, we'll see if Dorsey takes my call this morning? Stay tuned.

Welcome back Justin. Hope you are fully healed. I think we will struggle to bring all three of Jones, Phillips and Settle back in 2023, especially if we have paid Ed in the meantime. Eventually we need to find guys who can be a functional part of the 4 man DT rotation who don't come with established veteran price tags. Neither Zimmer or Brandin Bryant could be described as "young". Both are 29. But if one of them can be the 4th guy through for vet minimum and play at a serviceable level then they can offer you some cap flexibility elsewhere.

Really high football IQ. Eats and breathes the game. A real coaches son.
