Maybe we're letting him look to get a bigger deal than we can offer. As think under the new rules you can only activate a guy from PS X amount of times before are forced to sign him to active roster permanently.

If you cut someone from the Practice Squad and resign them a few weeks later (if they're still available,) does the number of call ups reset?

I’d like to see Zimmer play a few snaps on O some day.

guy is an incredible athlete.  See if he can play FB and blast a hole open for Singletary.

The interception was off Emili's helmet, and he basically just stood his ground after the snap. I would call that a bad decision by Lamar to throw through a wall of defenders more than anything Prince did.

I guess we can credit him for doing a short hop.

Was going to say this but didnt want to put the Prince down. He basically got no push, OL moved him back, and lucked out that QB threw ball right into him. That was luck more than skill.

Honestly I have no idea how well Emili played overall.  On the pass tip, he was downfield a couple of yards, not getting a push into the backfield.  Maybe the coaches just didn't see enough production to keep him on board.

Frazier can do no wrong.  If he thinks Emili should go, that's it for me.

That's surprising that we got rid of both of those guys, especially Emili, that quickly

There has to be guys on the PS that are less worth keeping in other positions

It’s a numbers game sometimes.

Agreed - wonder if it has to do with him already being called up twice and knowing Jordan is going to be out again.  They can only call him up 3 times - maybe it is stick close - we are going to sign Zimmer an activate him and then resign you if we get any more injuries.

They have had to call up a bunch of PS DL to cover for Phillips, Oliver, and Settle already this year and may be thinking ahead to ensure they can cover the rest of the year if something else happen.

Great point here.

Make him our version of Ricard? Hmm. I might enjoy that experiment.

I can’t believe they didn’t ask our opinion before doing this.

The Texans would have a better record than the Bills if this were the case.

Zimmer had an achiles right?   Love that guy but not sure when he will be game ready.   I feel like this bodes well for Philips or Oliver or both getting back to health.

Players on the practice squad can be placed on the active/game day roster three times during the regular season. If a player is made active on game day a fourth time, they must be signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Following the first three games, the player reverts to the practice squad.
