Bruffalo Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I like Zimmer. The dude has a motor and a great energy level on the field. 1 6 Quote

As think under the new rules you can only activate a guy from PS X amount of times before are forced to sign him to active roster permanently. If you cut someone from the Practice Squad and resign them a few weeks later (if they're still available,) does the number of call ups reset? 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Does this just mean the sweet prince goes back to PS? Quote

I would call that a bad decision by Lamar to throw through a wall of defenders more than anything Prince did. I guess we can credit him for doing a short hop. Was going to say this but didnt want to put the Prince down. He basically got no push, OL moved him back, and lucked out that QB threw ball right into him. That was luck more than skill. Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Just get Jordan Phillips healthy again. 3 2 Quote
HOUSE Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 (edited) Justin Zimmer is a future Hall of Famer IF he can just stay on the team Edited October 4, 2022 by HOUSE 1 Quote
Utah John Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Honestly I have no idea how well Emili played overall. On the pass tip, he was downfield a couple of yards, not getting a push into the backfield. Maybe the coaches just didn't see enough production to keep him on board. Frazier can do no wrong. If he thinks Emili should go, that's it for me. 1 Quote

They can only call him up 3 times - maybe it is stick close - we are going to sign Zimmer an activate him and then resign you if we get any more injuries. They have had to call up a bunch of PS DL to cover for Phillips, Oliver, and Settle already this year and may be thinking ahead to ensure they can cover the rest of the year if something else happen. Great point here. 1 Quote
Captain Caveman Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 I think this has more to do with Emili having already used two of his call ups, along with Zimmer getting healthy than anything Emili did wrong. 4 1 Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 (edited) Zimmer had an achiles right? Love that guy but not sure when he will be game ready. I feel like this bodes well for Philips or Oliver or both getting back to health. Edited October 4, 2022 by Matt_In_NH 1 Quote

Players on the practice squad can be placed on the active/game day roster three times during the regular season. If a player is made active on game day a fourth time, they must be signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Following the first three games, the player reverts to the practice squad.
