Brand J Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 At this point, barring a setback, the ACL is fully healed. His rehab consists of getting the surrounding muscles as strong and stable as they were before (not to mention the mental confidence that goes along with that). And no, I’m not a doctor, but I have seen a bunch of them on TV. 2 1

We see so often with athletes who have non-contact knee injuries that it's the mental confidence that is the last to come back. 2
Airseven Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 "White watch" truly begins during the bye week. 1
stevestojan Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 We should beat the Steelers by a billion. No need to rush him back. KC on the other hand?
SRQ_BillsFan Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Nothing matters until they activate him. I trust the team will not activate him before that as it makes no sense. Not activating will imply his current progress.

We’re in a race for home field and can’t afford to go into KC short handed. That’s almost a must win if we want to not be playing KC in January. Game before the KC game. get out all the rust stuck to his body.

IIRC, there was agreement that some contact with the knee occurred when Calloway’s hip made contact with Tre’s knee while it was in an awkward position and that contact probably lent itself to the tear. I remember some doctor opining that if Calloway hadn’t bumped the knee when it was in that awkward position, the ACL probably would have been ok. Fluky bad luck all the way around.

BillsfaninSB Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Does he have to come off the PUP list this week? I thought it was 4 games and that’s it. Curious the timing when they actually have to put him on the roster and move someone or put him on season ending IR.

buffalostu2 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Until I see video or pics of him doing anything besides riding the bike. I am going to assume he is 3 weeks out minimum. 1

Obviously the most conservative approach is best though. I don't think there is any chance he plays this week, is there? He hasn't even started practicing yet. I would guess Chiefs at the earliest, but likely not likely until he gets a week or 2 of practice under his belt.
Big Blitz Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Guys first live bullets game action since Thanksgiving 2021 is not going to be in 12 days vs Mahomes.....I mean seriously? It's going to be October 30th at the earliest don't even waste your time worrying about it.
John from Riverside Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 (edited) The coaches said that he was very close at the start of the season I feel like putting him on the pup was just out of an abundance of caution but he still has to get himself back up the game speed however long that takes I just want to see him healthy Edited October 4, 2022 by John from Riverside
