Orlando Buffalo Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Our WR core is shredded and Cook needs to stop making a few plays so that we can use him as our slot guy and move Shakir to the outside. Cook has been overwhelming so far but I truly have high expectations for him. 2 2 1 Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Now is the time Cook needs Cook to start playing well. The next screen pass he drops is going to drive me insane. 2 1 Quote
Warcodered Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I don't know, I think it would have been nice if he was doing it earlier, but now would be nice too. 4 3 Quote
pigpen65 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 It's definitely time to stop wasting 3 GameDay roster spots to RB's. Two of them ain't doing ***** and the lead rusher is always the QB anyways. Dress more receivers and DB's. 1 Quote

They could be quite capable given a shot behind a better line. 3 Quote

John from Riverside Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 He needs touches you can’t just give him one rep and he makes a mistake and then you put him in the doghouse for the rest of the game he had to go back to him 10 Quote
Ga boy Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I’m in the Cook camp. He will shake and bake and burn when he starts catching the ball. Hope it’s soon. Go Bills 🏈🦬 3 Quote

sven233 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 (edited) He's had a rough go for the most part with his very limited opportunities. But I think that's most of the problem.....he's not getting a real opportunity. Backs thrive on touches and getting into a rhythm, picking up blocking tendencies of the line, and getting a feel for how defenses are playing you. Because he only gets a couple snaps a game, it is impossible to settle in and get into a groove. So, he gets on the field, presses because he wants to do something meaningful with his 1 or 2 touches, and in turn makes mistakes. I would love for the staff to just tell him going into a game that he's going to get multiple full series in a row and not just a random play once in a while. Unfortunately, I don't see this staff doing that. Our best hope to get anything out of him is to get up big and allow him to come in and get some real work and almost be unstoppable in that time to force the staff to give him more playing time. Honestly, I feel bad for the kid because I think he just needs a real chance to show what he can do. Edited October 4, 2022 by sven233 4 2 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 It's time for Cook to not fumble or drop his first possession EVERY single game. 3 7 1 5 Quote
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Now is not the time, but it would be nice. I'm good with it taking awhile as long as he's starting to play well by December. Down the stretch and the playoffs is when we'll need him the most. 1 Quote

Ralonzo Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I'm all for elevating Duke and inactivating Cook for a game. 3 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I don't think it's going to happen. For the last 3 weeks I've heard it's going to be the "James cook game". Mcd doesn't trust him right now Quote
