billieve420 Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 With all the injuries at WR. I would be more open to signing OBJ after the trade deadline and bringing him in for the playoff run. On the Trade front I would target guys at O-line or Safety. Quote

He’s not going from PUP to play. He gets activate from PIP and sits fir 3 weeks befire bring roster active. 1 1 Quote

djp14150 Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 They could use Cook in a slot receiver role. 1 1 Quote
John from Riverside Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Hodgens is a better wide receiver than Kumerow and we played him give him a freaking chance 1 2 2 Quote

No he can start practicing after 4 games and then has 3 weeks to come back, if they thought he might come back earlier then he should certainly come back now. Quote

An ankle injury has nothing to do with dropped passes. Is it time to take a look at Hodgins? That ankle injury for Davis might be causing some issues with dropped passes depending on how painful it is. 1 Quote

NewEra Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 I’d much rather have shakir out there anyway. Losing crowder isn’t going to hurt too much imo. Just have to hope that we don’t have any more long term injuries 1 Quote

That’s what I said … when he gets off the PUP list they have 3 weeks to decide to activate him on the 53 or he goes on IR. He’s not going from activating from PUP to playing the next game. Quote

But it'd be wise to look ahead for more depth in case God's forbid any more injuries strike. They are not fine. They have: Diggs Davis (Clearly hurt and trying to play through it, needs a week or two off to heal) McKenzie (Injured currently) Shakir Kumerow (Injured currently) Crowder(injured currently) Id call Will Fuller and give him a tryout. 1 1 Quote
Success Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 It certainly seems like we're being hit hard right now - but outside of Hyde (which is obviously a huge loss), it looks like most of the hurt players will find their way back this season. I think we have enough depth where it won't be too much of a negative impact in the regular season. Just have to hope that we're as healthy as we can be come playoff time. Quote

Agree. WR depth is now a VERY SERIOUS concern. I do feel fairly confident in Austin and Hodgins' ability to step in for a few games if needed, but injuries to them or any of our other rostered WRs and we are in a code red situation. IMO, we need to be auditioning vet WRs starting today. Quote
