marck Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Jamison has broken ankle. I see the Bills bringing up Tavon Austin off the practice squad. 10 1 1 Quote
BuffaloBill Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Injury bug has been brutal this year. crowder to IR for sure. 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Wow. Can’t believe the number of injuries this team has had. 1 2 Quote
Bangarang Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Shakir slides into his role pretty easily. 5 30 1 Quote
Steptide Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 He's been a non factor. Don't want injury on any player, but let's see what Shakir is capable of. 3 15 Quote
MAJBobby Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Sucks for Crowder and no means cheering this. But IMO this is a blessing, will force the more Dynamic Shakir on the field IMO. This is your time to shine Rook, do what Davis did his rookie year. 6 6 Quote
BruceVilanch Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Hodgins or Austin should be getting a call soon 2 Quote

What's with Gabe? An ankle injury has nothing to do with dropped passes. Is it time to take a look at Hodgins? 1 4 Quote
Big Turk Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Sucks but not overly surprising...Crowder while a very good player consistently gets injured and misses a bunch of games seemingly every year. Not a season ending injury, should be back for the back half of the season I'd assume and worst case a few games before the playoffs. Just now, Process said: Feel for him, but the injuries to him and Kumerow could be a blessing in disguise. Maybe it forces Beane to make a move for someone that can actually be a difference maker on offense. Or at least we will get to see Shakir. McDermott is a good coach, but I don't trust him to play our best players on offense on his own. McDermott does not control who plays on offense. Quote
brianthomas Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Sucks for Crowder but its an opportunity for someone else. OBJ realistically in play potentially now? 3 1 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 We had lot of luck when it came to injuries last year, even though people here were heavily arguing otherwise. Not so much this year. We need to fight through it nd get/be healthy as much as possible in the playoffs. As for Crowder, something like this was expected after news about him yesterday. Hopefully McKenzie will be good to go. Either way, let Davis sit, call Hodgins and Austin from PS, let Shakir, Knox and RBs play a lot vs Steelers, and get healthy for Chiefs. And no I am not looking past Steelers, but Davis needs some rest. 1 Quote

He’s where he should be. Im not worried about Gabe. 2 1 Quote

That is exactly what I thought - they can call up Austin or Hodgins from the PS, but use the roster spot for White. Then see where we are next week. Quote

I think we definitely do look that way at some point, but when is he actually able to play after that injury he had? Quote
