Totally disagree.   A field goal does him a lot of good, it gives then the lead.  Then you Trust your defense to hold the lead.   He basically told his defense he didn't trust them.  

 

If he must play for a TD, a better call would have been a run, if it failed then Bills would have started very deep in their own zone and again - you TRUST your defense.

3rd string QB and one of the most predictable offenses in the league, and they're struggling.

Pats proving that as long as you’re strong in the trenches on both sides, you can sometimes win even with garbage at QB. Zappe has all day and they can run the ball because they invest in their o line.
