Tavon Austin is the new scout team Lamar

You may recall that for the last two Ravens matchups with Lamar, Isaiah McKenzie played this role. He said during his Monday Night live show that he hoped he could still do it because it’s fun but wasn’t sure if he would because he now actually has to take 1st team reps on offense. He was trying to see if he could do both. Austin is a great resource to have on the scout team for this!

He’s been on the PS since camp/ preseason ended. Duke Johnson too!

Austin too!! Let Davis ankle heal properly

My first thought was "What happened to McKittrick doing this?"  But it makes sense to save McK for first team reps in the offense.

Lamar is a glorified Tyrod Taylor. He’s a better runner and a better passer, maybe a top 10-15 talent but nothing special. He’s an ACL tear away from being a backup QB. His passing TD statistics are overinflated because of his use of the RPO. Sure, he’s solid but I would not pay this guy $40M/yr if I I’m Baltimore.
