Big Turk
I wanted to see what the most number of plays ran in a game by a single team was since I knew 90 was pretty high. Turns out it isn't even close to an NFL record, which was 110 by the Redskin in the mid 90's, and while not that common, it isn't that rare either. It isn't even the Bills record for most plays in a game, which is actually 91 and that happened two times 2 years apart in 1994 and 1996 against the Steelers(23-10L) and the Giants(23-20W). It was very interesting to see that the Bills have played 4 games that featured exactly 90 plays(their 2nd most plays in a game), and 3 times it was against the Dolphins. The other time was that wild OT game in Minnesota with Bledsoe in 2002 where the Vikings ran 90 plays against us and lost 45-39. They lost all three games against the Dolphins. The first was in 2005 and the famous Sage Rosenfels game where Losman hit Lee Evans for 3 TDs in the first quarter(2 of them bombs) and we went up 21-0 only to see the Dolphins turn a 23-3 lead for the Bills heading into the 4th quarter turn into a 24-23 loss when Chris Chambers caught a last second 6 yard TD near the end of regulation. The second was the 2016 Christmas Eve game against the Dolphins in 2016 where the Bills rolled up nearly 600 yards of offense and lost 34-31 in OT with Tyrod actually playing well from behind for once, leading us back from a 14-0, 21-7, and 28-14 deficit to take a 31-28 lead in the 4th quarter, only to see Miami kick a Fg to tie it and then win in OT with another FG. Then the third was this past Sunday's game. Pretty crazy that the Dolphins are the opponent for 3 of the 6 games in Bills history that featured 90 or more plays, and that we lost all 3 of them.

Tyrod was great in that game - we couldn't stop Jay Ajayi with Rex's patented 10 man defense.

Yeah, the D was an abomination tho, allowing Matt Moore to shred us...if it was this D, he would have had like 120 yards, 3 INTs and a QB rating of like 30.
