Billsfan1972 Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Boy that Miami defense must be good??? Just wondering whether they were that good or any talk after the game about that. 2 Quote
LEBills Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) Good point, there were several holds by Miami that were more egregious than the one called on Benford. Edited September 26, 2022 by LEBills 2 Quote
LabattBlue Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 The refs were too tired from the heat to pull their flags out? 2 3 Quote
Billsfan1972 Posted September 26, 2022 Author Posted September 26, 2022 And I am watching Brady get's his usual 1-2 PI calls and holding penalties..... Quote
boyst Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 We had a lot of missed calls against us against the Titans for holding. It wouldn't have changed the game. Yesterday we had a few odd missed calls on holding again van rotten at one point wrapped and his arms around a defender and fell on him. Our offensive line was playing on the edge of legality several times. 1 1 Quote
Rc2catch Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 I thought they let both teams play for the most part. I did not like the one call on the hit on their running back Edmonds. I thought it was a clean hit to his shoulder. Both teams got away with a decent amount. I prefer less flags and mostly it looks like the refs have been calling less this year. I’d be interested in seeing the numbers league wide from last year to this year on how many calls are actually being made. Maybe I’m crazy and it’s the same, just feels like less calls across the league. 1 Quote

Not only was it clean, it was obvious Johnson was attempting to pull up but it's impossible to be running full speed at someone and then avoid contact with them as he is falling towards you unless you want to take a chance of potentially injuring yourself by making some weird move to try and get out of the way. 2 Quote
mikemac2001 Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Josh Allen had two instances where his head was hit or grabbed. On top of that Wilkins coming in late and they called the roughing on the Milano tap. refs didn’t cost us the game but I thought they were one sided. 1 1 1 Quote
Never NEVER Give-up Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Don't forget Wilkins' helmet hit to Knox's face mask after his catch. 2 1 Quote
Airseven Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Dolphins did a great job keeping everything in front of them and forcing check downs. Both their secondary played well and obviously pass rush had a huge impact. Consequence of Allen’s million throws was mostly just wearing out the offense. 1 Quote

Clear as day on TV, Johnson slowed and turned his shoulder. Literally nothing else he could have done. BS call. 4 Quote

He had no angle of Johnson actually pulling up. It was actually a pretty critical call in the game. 1 1 Quote
Buffalo Boy Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Just saw a vid of Melvin Ingram roundhouse kicking Josh in the quad area while engaged with O lineman. Yesterday’s game was infuriating on so many levels but the cheap shot crap against Josh was horrible. When it’s obvious and not called ……🤬 Before anyone says “Payback for Tua”, don’t. That was as innocuous of a shove as could be. To his credit, Josh seemed the most composed of anyone. 3 Quote
H2o Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 There were more penalties than just PI and Defensive Holding the refs turned a blind eye to yesterday. Illegal and late hits on Josh. Holding by their OL on at least 5 different occasions I saw. The hit on Knox could have been a flag, but eh. Three face mask penalties not called on their defense. It definitely looked like a screw job so they can continue to suck off Tua and the Phins. 2 Quote

Saw a few times receivers wanted a flag that wasn't thrown. 1 Quote
HamSandwhich Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 There were many, very few called Quote
GolfandBills Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) There might have been one or two that could of been called but credit to Miami they played great defense i found it funny how the commentators kept saying Miamis defense has to be gassed… It was the total opposite. Our offense was gassed from those long drives and Miami players seemed to be fine physically for the most part. Edited September 26, 2022 by GolfandBills Quote
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Missed facemask on allen in the end zone. Missed knee target on allen on same drive. Missed call on the helmet lead to knox. Missed kick call on Ingram. I believe wilkins also went for a "peanut" punch and hit allen in the... groin. No call and Allen gets one for retaliating. 1 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 This is one of the most glaring stats that indicated how slanted the refs were for Miami. Quote
Sestak4ever Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 What about the officials not agreeing on where to spot the ball after Moss’s run, but did nothing to reset the play clock, forcing us to waste a timeout that we could have used at the end of the game? That was brutal! 2 1 Quote
