We were a walking mash unit before the game even started and then they were dropping like flies in the game we were playing lineman that probably would never see game time in an ideal situation

Yep. Probably had a much better chance of downing the Dolphins with a depleted roster. Jackson is a better QB than Tagavailoa. Need wins vs BAL and KC.

They were working on Allen's hand just before the last drive (after the missed TD throw to the end zone on 4th & goal). He came back in for that last drive.

Given our other injuries at CB, I'm most concerned about Benford.   He returned, but only on S/T in 2nd half.  He said they "clubbed" it up (likely casted or heavily wrapped), then deferred further questions to the Coaches to answer. Not sure this is good.

 

Worse case he has a broken hand, which isn't unheard of to play thru, but obviously concerning & could lead to missed games.  Best case, he had a bad contusion/immediate swelling.  I'd expect they would already know if he broke it (xray available at the stadium).

 

Bates injury was 'head-related', Van Roten seemed to have a left leg injury, then all others were "heat related".  Hopefully get good news on all of these.

The Ravens are also battling a lot of injuries heading into next week.

 

Honestly, the season has been kind of brutal so far, all around the league. Obviously hope that the trend improves.

The one positive aspect is the fact that we play mainly zone coverage which means that pressing receivers is less important in our scheme. Even if it's broken, he may be able to get a club cast on his hand and continue playing relatively soon.

With all of our injuries in the secondary, I am wondering what has become of Cam Lewis.  It seems I have not heard his name since preseason.

I was surprised he wasn’t on the field over the UB UDFA. Perhaps he was the backup safety?
