PetermansRedemption Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 That looked like it was in Jeudy’s hands. Just now, dpberr said: I've thought that. I think they tried to be proactive and that didn't work out and they were stuck. I don't think teams can fire a coach they just hired simply because if he hasn't coached a single game nor violated any sort of team policies. I don't think the Broncos would have gotten away with that without incurring significant cost and criticism. So here's Nate Hackett head coach. I think he lasts a couple games before Rosburg takes over. I’m pretty sure they certainly could have fired him, BUT, his contract is fully guaranteed. So they were paying him either way, might as well see if he can coach. Quote
716er Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) The camera is not square with the yard line on this challenge. I think he was short. Edited September 26, 2022 by 716er Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 I've seen all 3 Broncos games this year (glutton for punishment), and that's the first time I've seen Wilson actually tuck the ball away and seriously run. There have been scrambles behind the line of scrimmage and an occasional slide for a 1 or 2 yard gain, but no actual runs. And this is a guy who one season ran for 800+ yards. Quote
Blank Stare Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Any one of us on this board coulda told the broncos not to hire Hackett as HC. Dude seems like a nice enough guy. Super positive and full of energy. But the guy was a terrible. Got to work with Aaron Rodgers and fooled some team into thinking he had anything to do with Rodgers success. 2 Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 You have to think a FG ices this for SF. Ordinarily you'd say an 8 point lead is just a TD and 2 point conversion. But the Broncos seem completely incapable of pulling off two clutch plays. Quote

YoloinOhio Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) Oh geez even Hacket’s new decision coach is terrible Remember when we all thought the afc west was going to be so awesome Edited September 26, 2022 by YoloinOhio 1 2 Quote
Blank Stare Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Russ was so clutch getting the fellas on the sideline to call out run or pass on that ‘9ers drive. 1 Quote

How do you actually have a conversation with your head coach to tell him your hiring a decision making coach but that Hackett can still call the plays. Turico just said 1765 no shows in Denver tonight —- looks like they made the right decision Edited September 26, 2022 by PetermansRedemption Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) I can't tell for sure without seeing the All 22 or something like that. But this Broncos offense just seems rudimentary in design. Where are the routes over the middle? Crossing/rub routes? Where's the misdirection? All the stuff modern offenses specialize in. This is like 1970s football. Edited September 26, 2022 by The Frankish Reich Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Russ is so tentative. So slow on his decision making. He actually reminds me of Tyrod at this point. Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) Wilson isn't good, these throws are brutal Makes a good one as I posted lol Edited September 26, 2022 by Cheektowaga Chad Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 And yet ... they are one play away from taking the lead. Quote

PetermansRedemption Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 If Denver wins this, they are the worst 2-1 team in the league. Quote
