SoMAn Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I know he’s competitive, but have opportunities for head coaching gigs bypassed him because of concerns over his mental health? I mean, that tantrum was something I’d expect from a 3-year-old who can’t get their way-not an adult in a high profile profession. That was truly bizarre. Almost as curious was the complete lack of surprise or acknowledgement from the 2 guys next him. They didn’t even glance his direction during the tirade- as if it wasn’t the first time they’d witnessed it. 3 2 16 1 11 4 1 21 Quote

UKBillFan Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I hope Josh does the same towards him over the horrific play calling in the second offensive drive of the game. Basically gifted Miami a touchdown. 2 1 1 1 3 1 Quote
NORWOODS FOOT Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I'm not bothered by it. Meh... Slammed some clipboards around... 2 4 1 Quote
Einstein Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I loved that. Absolutley loved that. Wish McD showed a tenth of that passion. 17 10 4 5 Quote
Milanos Milano Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Loved it. Probably realizes he’d be unstoppable with a halfway decent line. I’d be mad too. 2 1 3 Quote
GunnerBill Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 It was a poor look. Throw your headphones down, fine. But the hissy fit was unprofessional. Gotta be better than that. Not the end of the world or anything but you have to control your emotions as a coach. And I say that as a coach who has also failed to do it on occasion too. I get it. But he has to do better. 15 3 1 1 8 4 1 2 Quote

Codyny13 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I love the passion. Get mad, you lost to an inferior team. Moving rt along. 12 2 Quote
Nextmanup Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I LOVED IT! It made him look human and not beyond some good old fashioned emotion. The OP's barometer is a bit off on this stuff. These guys are ex-jocks and athletic coaches. His behavior was probably perfectly normal. You just don't see it all the time. Using the word "unhinged" is ridiculous and describing his tirade as "truly bizarre" is also misguided. At least that's my 2 cents. 7 7 1 2 Quote
SCBills Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Loved it. Not even going to explain why.. should be obvious to anyone who’s played competitive sports. Glad he’s our OC. 11 8 3 Quote

I think most Bills fans were doing the same thing with their remotes. So I guess we're all unhinged. I'd rather have a coach with a little passion than a robot clapping on the sidelines. 3 1 1 Quote
Roundybout Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I think it was the most relatable thing I’ve seen from a coach all day long 8 1 Quote

Mrbojanglezs Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 He looked like a psychopath but I'm not sure that's a bad thing as an offensive coach Quote
